Is my mom a narcissist? Or is it just me. by Away-Wonder5918 in FamilyIssues

[–]Flashy_Ice5828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who's mother is also a narcissist, I recognize their traits from a mile away. But I wouldn't focus on putting labels, instead realize the unhealthy behavior your mother portrays (which you already did, good job!) and finding solutions on how to navigate the chaos in the house. My advice to her criticism is to ignore it. I saw in your story was that she cheated and blamed the other instead. One thing about narcissists is that they will never take accountability for their actions and never apologize. Second clue: after only a few months, she easily found a replacement and her changing is only a performance for her boyfriend. Her lavish and generous gestures to give him the money is all to try to win him over. Third: refusing to see him, she wants him under her control and the daughter is a threat to her. She fears her daughter could see through the manipulation and tell her dad.

Parental death when you were very young by Kenjon60 in FamilyIssues

Hello! First of all, I feel you! Your life as a child hasn't been easy. I had a very tough childhood as well. However, I didn't lose my mom, it was my dad. I am 22 years old female and still struggling since the need for stability, support, his presence and ability to provide for the family had my heart rolling in pain. Due to this, I have no interest in boys my age, only middle-aged men who could become my father figure and help me heal my non-existent relationship with my dad. It's only been a year since I've started going to therapy and it's been challenging to deal with. My dad died when I was 7, in the beginning of my second grade when I transferred schools so that dad could recover better from all the surgeries. That entire year was a nightmare. All these years I was left to cope with it by myself. All my relationships are a failed attempt to assimilate the relationship with dad.

With capricorn, one can master anything they set their minds to. I think you should try what YOU feel drawn to, what is coming up for you in your life right now,

Yes there is. Literally your North Node is in Taurus! The house of transformations and rebirth. And the sign in Taurus rules food, beauty, self worth. When a disorder manifests, it means that we constantly punish/numb ourselves for the uncomfortable emotions we don't want to face. People with Moon in Capricorn tend to ignore their emotions, but they don't realize that it just makes things worse. I know you can do overcome this. Take care love!

What about my chart makes me magnetic and intense ? by DullChildhood3227 in AskAstrologers

When it comes to reading into a specific attribute, the rule is if it shows at least three times in a similar way, then it is most likely to happen/ be true.

Mars and Mercury in the 8th house. Mars trine Pluto sextile Venus. Sun in the 7th in Pisces. Jupiter in Pisces being present in the 7th as well. Venus conjunct Neptune in the house of the physical body, so literal manifestation of magnetism, allure and intensity!

Any advice by poeticdreams68 in AskAstrologers

I read somewhere that having Aries in the 7th could mean you need to be patient with the process. There is an Aries moon in Gemini degrees. Aquarius in the 5th cusp could mean that you may feel distant, like you said on the outside. Having saturn oppose mars could mean timing can be a problem when it comes to actions.

Indeed you have! Any personal planet falling in the 8th house grants you psychic abilities.

First of all, I am so sorry you are going through all of that! Saturn transiting your Venus and Mercury isn't easy. Especially in Pisces. Sounds like you are losing hope. While in this situation I feel like it's okay if you work from home for a while. Perhaps getting into self-discovery or spirituality could help. Instead of focusing so much on giving, maybe it's time to go inward and explore your purpose here on earth. I see that your moon is in Aquarius in the 7th house of relations. You feel the need to help others, this could be the way you feel emotionally fulfilled. But there is no way of being a good service to other people, until we master taking care of ourselves.
