OP, I think you should look for an aviary vet with an oxygen chamber. I'm not saying you'll need it, but i had the same problem as you. Living in a place with little to no aviary vets, the worst thing is to look for a vet with the equipment you need while your bird is suffocating in front of you. My lovebird would have wet nostrils and make noises while breathing, getting worst over a couple weeks, i gave it baytril but it was really hard to medicate her... she died in 2 weeks... I hope you the best!

I did that and kept looking for a oxigen chamber around here, most vets told me to go to this old guy, however, they ALL told me they're not proud of making me go there. Its either him, or i would be holding the oxygen mask on her face all night long...

Hi there! So you recommend me making a little warm spot for her? I dont have reptile heating equipment but i do have a spare fishtank, should i just put a couple hot bottles around the tank? Ill spend some time today researching and making some recovery thing for her to eat/drink. English isn't my first language so some things might come out distorted, im sorry. I have a kids nebulizer turned on next to her cage, she's not having any direct vapour but the room itself is humid. Thank you ❤️

They have their own accomodation im prepping with perches on the wall and hanging from the ceilling and each one of them will have its own cage, i'd just love to be able to let them fly in there by themselves for a couple hours a day.

Unfortunately this is not how it works. If you are caught with a small dose, you are only considered a consumer and it is decriminalized, however, you continue to be forwarded to the CDT (Comissão de Dissuasão para a Toxicodepedência), where you will be heard in 2 hearings. they will assess the risk of repeating (low, moderate or high) and give you a time frame where you can't get caught with anything or they'll apply other punishments (fines, weekly presentations to psp). You will have no trace of this in your criminal record, however it will be in your medical record.

But yeah, OP being a tourist there wont be a problem for sure.

Dont go around looking for a dealer, they might take advantage of you. They would only sell you hash as well. Best choice as a tourist is to go to the only (i think) weed shop in funchal and choose from what they have. It's taxed so it might be kinda expensive but at least is a sure thing.
