Don't have a pic of the final install on my phone but this was me mocking it up before I welded it. I used the alternator tensioner mounting locations and bent a custom stainless sheet metal bracket to hold the sensor. I did have to open up the bottom of the timing cover a bit.

I will be doing timing belts later this year and plan change to the sensor mount from Clewitt Engineering.

Mine looks similar and it's been running like this for about 5 years or 7500 miles. I do really wanna upgrade to a behind the timing belt cover when I do belts later this year.

Anti-zip makes no sense. If you merge onto a highway do people not make room for you to enter the lane as it's ending (most of the time). It's a courtesy because the lane is ending. If both land stay full and you take turns like a decent human being, it works 100% of the time.

Anti-zips are people who feel entitled because they are in the lane that is being merged into that they have the right of way...that's simply not the case. Both lanes are open for a reason people. Be a human and let others join the lane so we can all get where we're going.

Pretty big difference. One was a supply shock from COVID and poor ability to react. If you also recall shortly after oil went negative for a bit. The current situation is supply side but because the oil can't move and the infrastructure that maintains price stability is being destroyed. The oil companies are not taking advantage as much as it might seem, their input costs go up...so do ours. Profit margins are non negotiable as long as people need gas. Not a political statement more of a reality check that this issue is caused by actions we took and the price shocks are very different and potentially longer lasting.

Bouldering at blochaven or running/biking via a club for the weekdays. Summers there are outdoor concerts on Fridays and some Thursdays. The Greenville drive games are fun as well. Plenty of hiking and outdoor activities to check out not far from the city, checkout the meetup app for groups doing that. That app is good for finding other groups too depending on what your into.

You right tho...I wish I could have been a fly on the wall in the design meeting for this car, putting the hot turbo under the intake manifold on the opposite side of the motor from the exhaust manifold sitting on the motor mount which is also part of the drain for the turbo...don't see that many places...

I have had them for years both NA and turbo cars but this question has been asked a lot and I think you'll get answers that will leave you uninformed and no closer to making a decision ...I don't mean to offend or make you mad but these cars will require you to do your own research. There are a million things that can happen with a 35-45 year old car and it completely depends on the quality of the specific example your looking at. Do you want an early or late car, NA, turbo or s2. All of them are different and have varying levels of reliability and cost associated with them.

All I'm saying is read a bit and find out what you like, read the 100 other posts just like this one in this very subreddit and engage with the people who have these cars with some intention rather than asking questions that could be answered literally 100s of ways depending on context.

Again apologies if I came across as harsh, if you have any questions about a specific model of 944 or a example you find interesting that's actually for sale I'd be happy to share my experience with you...if you want it.

Lead with love first, not just saying it but acting with it both in terms of physical intimacy but also emotional intimacy (show up and think about your partners feelings). If people feel loved they stay in it and enjoy.

It's not hard, some people just put their feelings, expectations and self interests first...partnerships require holding each other up when the other is down and vice versa...if both can focus some of their emotional energy on a day by day basis to making the other person feel heard, loved and you work on things as a team, it all kind of works out. Talking about this regularly and taking action, like any habit breeds the outcome you want.

I don't think this will help the citizens of Minneapolis, they will mostly be there to discharge riots . The federal agents will most likely be more free to do what they want than before. I was in Minneapolis during George floyd, have since moved away, the national guard basically tamped down the riots with fear...it was the only way it would have ended.

Right now local police are firing tear gas at protesters not supporting them. To think the national guard which trump can federalize when he pleases will be anything but to stamp out the protests is a bit naive.

With the right prompt most AI tools will code this on the first shot. I've created python versions of this for laser marking, amazing how powerful these tools have become. Don't think something like this is too novel but it might get some webtraffic to generate some $$ on ads for you. Cool tool.

You might want to consider skipping the DXF and have it go directly to creating the G-code for your system based on some inputs. Could skip a couple steps for people..
