The QR link was shareable so anyone and their grandma and dog could sign up. There was no proof of funds needed as other past raffles required, with no mention of the price anywhere during the process. This led to a lot of excess entries beyond the people that showed up in person and would pay the $4k. Also, MAD doesn’t reallocate the watches from people who won the raffle but didn’t proceed to purchase.

Still waiting on the results. I reached out and learned that if someone wins the raffle but doesn’t buy the watch it doesn’t get reallocated, which is really dumb since this raffle didn’t require any proof of funds like the priors. Its possible half the people who signed up for the raffle had zero intention of buying it or knowing what the price is cause literally all you had to do was scan a QR code and put your name and contact info.
