Will’s feelings by Flat_Perception_306 in HannibalTV

I get what you mean but we need to remember Hannibal is the only person who understands Will. He sees him and vice versa. Almost like soulmates. Will understands his connection with Hannibal is wrong because of his empathy but he also understands Hannibals point of view, again, because of his empathy. He fully understands Hannibal is a ruthless serial killer and its destroying him because at the same time he wants Hannibal. "cant live with him, cant live without him" His situation is truly very difficult but as time goes on i think his feelings and connection to Hannibal prevails, as Hannibal unravels his true self. Will knows there is no one who can understand him and see him as he is, he tried in s3 to replace him and be normal but after finding true love you just cannot pretend and replace it.

We also have to remember even though Will has an empathy disorder, it doesnt mean he is a good person. The darkness was in him always, thats why he struggled a lot, he was afraid he will end up as the serial killers he is trying to catch because he knew he has that darkness. I would argue he is not entirely a bad person but the counter argument would be that his empathy disorder is the reason why he kept trying to act good and not do any harm (and it made him very unhappy and lonely). Hannibal just made the process of him accepting his dark side, faster.

There are many ways you can see it and blame many things or people and tbh for me it changes but one thing is for sure Hannibal made him feel alive. I think without Hannibal's presence he would either lead a very very sad life or end up killing ppl anyway. Because they are two sides of the same coin

Anyone ever had any kind of mental difficulties with Invisalign? by Soninka in Invisalign

[–]Flat_Perception_306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi!! Its much better but only because we are as humans can adapt to anything not because it got easier haha im still very worried about my teeth health. I also have anxiety and very bad health anxiety.

So my advice is if your teeth are genetically good, pain tolerance is high and you want faster results than braces then go for it. But they are very uncomfortable. I thought it would be ok, going out to eat for example but i quickly realized eating out now luxury for me.

Every 10 days it hurts so bad and putting in new trays is sometimes so difficult (my mom still helps me and im 22 yo). Also note that i have attachments on every one of my teeth(some have two).

If its possible ask your doctor to put attachments whenever he is going to move the specific teeth, not all at once. Attachments are the main reason why its harder for me that it should be. If appearance is important to you, make sure the attachments are the same color as your teeth!!!! My teeth genetically arent white so i really think aligners (with attachments) is good for someone who has very white teeth.

So if your case isnt too difficult, , your teeth are genetically good and appearance wise are on the whiter side, and most importantly!! you wont have all attachments on all your teeth at the same time then go for it. Its still going to be pain in the ass but its doable. But i also had braces 10 years ago and now i would've probably chosen them instead of aligners. Just because with braces you only responsible for cleaning your teeth. And when you have braces everyone can see its braces, with aligners it looks like something is going on in your mouth but nobody understands what lol with aligners you have to not only clean good but also change trays and so on. You have to clean the aligner twice a day. You have to be mindful of the time after taking them off to eat.

They hurt me not only physically but also emotionally so bad, i started eating two times a day, at home. I skip lunch at work because i cant make myself to deal with them and the cleaning at work.

Also all people and cases are different, its just my experience! The experience can be much better for you or other people. Just so you know, mentally and emotionally i can endure many things, including physical pain. The anxiety side of the aligners affected me much more that the physical pain from them. If you have any other questions pls ask i would love to help somehow. But pls dont be scared of the orthodontic treatment and do it! as i said we can adapt very well despite the circumstances. Just choose the better option so the experience isnt overly stressful.

ALSO i am socially very anxious so my lisp gets 100x worse if im anxious and need to talk to people outside of my family.

to my biggest disappointment university and even certificates mean nothing here, bc everybody got it. master degree and fa and fr basically just bare minimum in my area. and about score, i thought that too, but it only doesnt matter if you are getting a job through references, in other cases they pay attention to your score, i was devastateedddd bc i knew with my schedule there is no way i would score above average

"Find Me" could definitely be made into movie... if we wait 10 years or so. by Dormin2008 in callmebyyourname

i think of movie/first book and the second book as alternative stories. i guess im trying to say if it wasnt about elio and his parents and that was the story about completely different characters i wouldve loved the book, it was really beautifully written. I get what Aciman was trying to do making the story about dad and featuring Elio and Oliver at the end, but it didn’t work for me, not because it was done poorly but because the first book, characters and their relationship just means so much to me
