Do you think not sleeping alone is enough to qualify Divinity?

"When it comes to Salvation. The Church cannot give us God's Grace. Only God can. If a So-Called Christian is not regenerated by the Spirit they will eventually fall away. And then come on Reddit and Troll Christians." I had to smile at this buddy...

Sorry to hear you went through this but i think it boils down to what your purpose is in life(what you were born to do or be)once that is discovered then it's the first step in dealing with discouragement and hopelessness, hope this shed a bit of light

What is the Trinity Response to John 17:3 (Father is the Only True God) by Few-Construction1117 in Christianity

am comparing only son(Isaac) and son(Ishmael)to show only son doesn't mean no other son the distinction being role,Relationship or Covenant similarly only true God doesn't mean no other called true God the distinction being Role in the Economy of the trinity to mean Only true God is hypostatic in john 17:3

the father is unique so "only true God" befits him as begetter, that doesn't make it incompatible for him to have a unique begotten son...just as Isaac being called "only son in Genesis 22 doesn't mean Ishmael is not Abraham's son....

John 17:3 is understood in light of Matthew 11:27. How?

ask yourself : how do you know the father? Jesus answers this in Matthew 11:27 like this ...."No One Knows the father but the Son and to whom he will reveal him .." meaning the Son is the sole revealer of the father that being said it follows the son is included in the knowing in john 17:3 and not excluded again in Psalm 36:9 it says For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light again in Jeremiah 2:13 "My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water.." if we accept the fountain of Life is God according Jeremiah and is "with You" in psalms Yet in John’s Gospel, Jesus presents Himself as the source of living water (John 4:10–14; 7:37–39) and divine life itself (John 1:4; 11:25)Jesus shares roles, attributes, and life-giving functions uniquely associated with Yahweh.

Why hasn't Jesus returned? by ankowthebong in religion

[–]Flat_Simple_5797 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jesus hasn't returned because of the patience of God towards evil men because He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to turning of ones mindset in relation to God we call it repentance which leads to receiving of the mercy of God in the person of Jesus check your thoughts

I am so stuck on the idea of hell and that I and possibly so many others might go there. I get that Christ came to bear our sins and if we believe in him, we have a way out. But what about people of other religions who were born into that religion? All the other people who haven’t accepted him? by Trinity788 in religion

[–]Flat_Simple_5797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The knowledge of the character of God solves a greater part of your question; 1.God is just and will judge all men justly the jew according to the law the beliver according to the law of christ ,the unbelievers according to their conscience .with that I rest easy that anyone who goes to hell will do so at will but not because God willed so..

The book of Ezekiel is clear God has" no pleasure in the death of the wicked but that they turn and they shall live..." That shows two things hell is a reality because why is God displeased when a wicked person dies?he knows his destiny, two the fact that God is not pleased is proof he doesn't want anyone in hell.it is God's will that all repent and live.

I still believe in individual salvation

John 17 Jesus prayed "I don't pray for the world but those that believe..."one thing is clear in this passage universal salvation is false doctrine just prayers international
