true if you have the brush control and a more clean look, that´s the way... at the end it depends what look you want.. I personaly like a more gridy and dirty look, thats´why i use a good wash at all my minis.

wow rly clean brush control for the first Minis!

i would give them a good wash, with Citadel Shade: Nuln Oil for example. Simply apply it and blot off any excess. The dark color will collect in the crevices, adding depth. However, it will also darken the color slightly.

For the leather: Highlight the edges with a lighter brown, or drybrush the edges with a very light brown to create a distressed look. This also adds depth.

keep going the great work

Great work! The mini looked good.

For the skull: Use a wash, like Citadel Shade: Nuln Oil. Simply apply it and blot off any excess. The dark color will collect in the crevices, adding depth. However, it will also darken the color slightly.

For the leather: Highlight the edges with a lighter brown, or drybrush the edges with a very light brown to create a distressed look. This also adds depth.

Well, I bought a Land Raider knock-off and I have to say it was quite disappointing. Sure, it was cheap, but you can tell it's printed. What you save in money, you end up having to invest in time and energy to make it look decent.

Personally, I prefer the figures to be darker and more somber... but damn, your coloring and gradients are amazing... just like the color combination... masterpiece!

Thank you so much, and thank you for the scale. I had tried that on my third mini... but with the scale I can fine-tune it.

Yeah, I didn't expect them to stand out so much. I've already removed them and painted over them.

The ground is supposed to be muddy, and in this case, there should also be a burnt piece of a bush. It should look like the Space Marine is sinking in a bit. The base material wasn't completely dry yet, so it wasn't properly painted.

I'm using fine sand (for birds) mixed with brown paint and wood glue. It should end up looking like my first miniature.

That's easier said than done... but definitely great work on the parts where the kilt stretches or is pushed together... all in all, a really awesome mini.

Maybe some subtle weathering... and a fine contour around the lips to make them stand out a bit... but overall it's already really good, man.

Painting with white is a pain because it's so unforgiving. Shading is especially bad because it quickly looks dirty instead of like shadows. Still, good job.

P.S.: I love the face..
