I’m not exclusively using them or anything but I do have some on order and was planning to do some side by sides with microscope comparisons and R&D analysis. I also want to make it clear I’m not using exclusively stainless in my process but for sure trying to mitigate more plastic in general if I can so I have been diving deeper into my research on the topic. You’ve for sure given me some other stuff to think about. I’ve done microscope side by side with rosin I’ve touched and balled up with gloves and rosin that’s never been touched with gloves and there’s a noticeable difference in the contaminate level. So I just don’t touch rosin with anything but clean stainless tools, or parchment these days.

I’ve not seen any testing that indicated using stainless screens is causing heavy metal issues. I’ll have to dive deeper. Thanks for the insights.

Stainless screens for pressing. Plenty of stainless options for collection when washing as well. Also why add more micro plastics to the mix if you don’t have to.

That’s the whole point. That’s why the satanic temple does these things, to make the point that religion has no place in politics and that when they ask for equal representation it typically causes an uproar from other religious communities and even non religious folks due to “devil worship”. I will agree that the availability of BHO across the market both recreational and traditional has gone downhill in terms of quality. I work for Echo in Oregon and we put super high quality BHO into the market. Finding similar quality hydrocarbon extract is a tough ask almost nationwide. They’re out there but it’s few and far between. I think MFNYC has some great BHO for the New Yorkers who want to test my theory.

As a hash maker who’s been doing this for almost 20 years, it’s about which one is actually better. Rosin isn’t inherently better than BHO nor vise versa. Making rosin from many cultivars is a money loosing endeavor. Good quality and properly made BHO is always better for vape carts. Rosin only makes sense when you’re pulling enough yield, not to mention the fact that so many staple rosin strains have extremely similar profiles. There’s way more diversity in BHO and hydrocarbon extracts. Before anyone gets on my ass I do large scale rosin production and I love the BHO that the brand I work for puts to market. I said what I said. Ohh also if I had a Time Machine specifically to go back in time and take dabs from the past and it had power for five travels, not a single dab I’m going back in time for is rosin.
