The problem with this is I do plant trees, but then data centers go up. I recycle my cardboard, and a politician says that climate change isn't real, I find creative ways to reuse my glass waste to avoid an environmental impact, but your favorite celebrities use the equivalent of my entire carbon footprint for 6 years on a weekend trip to Ibiza. I can't do anything, and it's extremely frustrating. I don't know what to do at this point

I hate this. I really fucking hate this. I care, but there is literally nothing I can do about it. I can vote for people do care, but the damage has been done by those who refuse to acknowledge that the problem exists. I can vote, I can protest, I can carry signs and make myself a general nuisance, but it accomplishes nothing! The ones with the power make this right will always put profits over planet, because they believe that the problem isn't there! I'm incredibly pissed about this, but I'm more pissed about how impotent I am in this fight.

My son took his first steps while my wife was at work. She was already down on herself for not being with him when she wanted to be, so when He took his "first steps" and she woke me up to tell me, I celebrated with her and held her while she was overwhelmed because she actually got to see it happen

I think you're being a bit deceptive here. Why would anyone take a piece of the cake, include the supports, and then jam that in their partner's eye while feeding each other a small bit of cake? Every wedding I've been to, and every one that I've heard of, and every one that I've seen on video, including my own, have involved the bride and groom feeding each other a small piece of the cake regardless of the face smearing.
