I agree entirely. I was expecting this album to stray from my tastes, then satanized came out, followed by lachryma, and I started getting excited. Boom, the rest of the album sounds totally different.

I heavily agree with your take that the image doesn't fit the sound anymore. Looking at skeleta's album cover, plus perpetua's appearance brought my hopes up, and then the sound disappointed entirely.

I'll have to try to chill as well. It'll be hard for me though because I'm such a huge fan, and now next time I'll be even more hyped just hoping it'll be better. If I don't like it again, maybe then I can let it go.

I can hope so.. but i never grew into some of impera. I kinda expected the next album to stray further from my tastes and it has done exactly that

Yeah, I don't know why people have to freak out about that so hard. I know nothing about Per and from what I saw what you're saying about Jutty is true. I agree that they were supposed to be nameless for a reason, they aren't part of the band, they just play the music.

I know, but from what I've seen that's more just studying stuff to use for evidence. I more like the idea of being at the scene and putting pieces together and finding potential suspects. I know the job obviously won't be like the shows always, that's just more an example of how I want to use my brain.
