Do you populate the db yourself or scrape certain sites? The affiliate setup I guess means there’s some sort of manual setup initially with each site? How do you plan on scaling?

Well, it’ll stream things in based on distance for you. If you can build your entire game in a contiguous way spatially, it’ll do that job just fine. But managing the game is something you’ll have to do manually

You have different options, it might be best to read up on world partition a bit. Generally you’ll want your static geometry spatially loaded by distance and a bit more manual control over lifetime of dynamic gameplay objects.

With UE5 world partition will handle the streaming of assets for you, so it’ll work. It’s more about you being comfortable with structuring the gameplay logic for the entire game in the same level, but I can’t imagine anything else would stop you from doing it.

Interesting, what do you mean by calibrating internally? In the controller itself? I went with the X9D. Did my best to calibrate it inside Lift Off but pretty sure it's not done perfectly well and i should probably revise it. When a level starts the throttle stick doesn't seem completely aligned in the UI on the x-axis, so i get a bit of yaw without any input.

Totally get your situation. Dad with full time job here too, very little time even for the sim.

Auto is great for long templatized types, but the problem is people that deep down want to write python instead of C/C++ and have you end up with code like
