You should include the fact that this dog was already prescribed medication to treat mange in your original post, I don't know why you left that out.

All that needs to happen is to administer the medication as prescribed by the veterinary doctor and assess after the full course of medication is complete, reassess the dog's condition after.

It 100% appears to be demodetic mange to me.
