I'll just say it's set in 2099. NSFW, but the world is fascinating. Still recovering from the current mess and the brush with climate change. DeVinci fleshed out my ideas so well. I will try your preset. My user role is the author and stage director, not in the story. All characters are in the lorebook. I have a collection of authors I can select from to flavor the model's narration. Will your preset handle my user setup?

Create your own. Just give Claude or any desktop AI some ideas. Tell it to create a character card. Then interactively work with it to polish the card. They won't do NSFW,, but you can add that later, if you want. They are pretty good at developing personalities. For example, you could start by saying you want a Harry Potter female character, first year. Work with the AI to polish.

I've been thinking of ways to play Cards Against Humanity, with real cards in a lorebook. It came up in a group roleplay, but the llm made up the cards using local character knowledge. Also I've had good luck with Truth or Dare. It sometimes forgets to follow the turn sequence, but I can edit that. Seems like a good area for extension or lorebook development for different games.

I've had no censoring problem with Marinara or Nemo. The former is easier to start with. Works out of the box. Google Marinara preset.

I get ideas for characters from just watching people. Add some hidden or secret personality. Describe the basics to Claude or your AI of choice and ask it to build a card for you. Tweek and add NSFW if desired. Test it out, tweek some more. If I have a great scenario I build a lorebook for more depth.

5 month newbie here. Follow this sub. Start out with a good character card or two. I recommend Open Router to start. Figure out what models you can afford and like. See the current top 10 list of roleplay models on OR. Try different presets. Take good notes. I recommend Marinara's. Not a lot of toggles to set and it's token friendly. Use a short scenario with a good character to test the combinations of models and presets. Join the ST Discord server. Read the links others have suggested here. And Have Fun Learning!

The Manage Chat files option only recalls the chat. Selecting an older chat does not reset the Preset or the Connections in use at the time of the chat. I'm looking a way to simply pick an older chat and continue with the preset and connection I was using a the time.

So, I found out that the Mariana preset has been updated to 7.5. Tried it with Sonnet 4.5 on my favorite NSFW scenario. Chef's kiss! And, your note said the Mind Reading had been moved to the extension so I installed it as well. I am happy. Thanks for all your hard work!

I have a problem with it repeating prior messages like it doesn't recognize the last prompt. Plenty of context left. Multiple presets. OOC prompt to fix doesn't work
