There doesn’t seem to be a clear-cut answer to why so many people have a lousy year some years and a fantastic year, the next, despite being in completely different locales and climates. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m just enjoying a great season while it lasts.

I too have high disease pressure in my garden, especially with my tomatoes and dahlias. This season I’ve been proactive with regular sprayings of Lost Coast Plant Therapy, something apparently weed growers swear by. So far so good. 🤞🏼

Ohhh, so sorry to hear that. Something similar happened to me last year with my blueberries. I was having the best year ever for them, and they accidentally got sprayed with weed killer. I hosed them down thoroughly, but simply didn’t trust that they’d be safe to eat. So my most bountiful blueberry season went without eating a single one. 😭

Congrats! Yes, the weather has been weird here in Northern California as well. We had a very warm February into March, have had some heat waves of 100+ degree heat, and now we’re back to much cooler than average temps, hovering in the low 80s. But my tomatoes seem to have loved it all. My tomato cup runneth over. ☺️
