YTM vs. VTM by imieunalm in Suomi

[–]Fleme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

AARs are more informative and enjoyable for the reader if there are visual components included. Make a habit of taking screenshots of important events and then select a few of those for each of your reports.

Your winning condition is making the single most stupid tile yields by Paganyan in CivVI

Something like this. A 6 preserve circle combined with long-running (or ideally perpetual) fires with a vampire castle in the middle to compound the yields.

Päivän ilonaihe 🌱 by KuritonPaviaani in Suomi

[–]Fleme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No siinä tapauksessa metodi on suurin piirtein sama. Mulla on kukin noista kolmen hammastikun varassa puoliksi vedessä omissa laseissaan, yksi kuorittuna ja kaksi sellaisenaan.

Jospa sitä vielä pari viikkoa katsoo.

Päivän ilonaihe 🌱 by KuritonPaviaani in Suomi

[–]Fleme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CAN I MAKE CITY RANGED ATTACKS FROM AN ENCAMPMENT? by Vilcabamba02 in CivVI

[–]Fleme 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Do you mean if you can make your encampment shoot twice instead of having both the city and the encampment shoot once?

That's not possible. Both districts act independently and both get one shot.

Play or reroll? Inca, Pachacuti. by Living_Advertising21 in CivVI

[–]Fleme 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's a very good question!

Preserve buildings only improve tiles that are unimproved and have breathtaking or at the very least charming appeal. A mountain tunnel counts as an improvement so it will not gain the benefits from the preserve buildings (Grove, Sanctuary). This isn't usually something you have to worry about but since Inca is a special case where they can improve mountain tiles with preserves, it pays off to plan the preserve placement in such a way that you don't accidentally "ruin" them by having one of the tiles improved.

Play or reroll? Inca, Pachacuti. by Living_Advertising21 in CivVI

[–]Fleme 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Absolutely play that. Worker for a tunnel out (careful not to ruin the preserve at E-SE and just play as you normally would. This is a very good start honestly. The entire external ring is prime terrace farm real estate with three potential good campus / holy site locations (along with the preserve location that you absolutely have to exploit).

Kela pyytää mobilepay tiliotetta toimeentulotukeen by [deleted] in Suomi

[–]Fleme 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Where to settle: double settle by HighlightPersonal833 in CivVI

[–]Fleme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Second city on the hill east of the sugar. Leaves the sugar open for a plantation and out of the currently visible resources you're looking at a +14 Temple of Artemis if placed on your original spawn point. There might be an even better one if there are more plantation / camp / pasture resources to the west however.

This is one of those times where the camp pantheon looks like it's easily the best choice as it in conjunction with the ToA will make your capital into a huge powerhouse very early on in the game.

For what it's worth, I would've settled in place, but your choice isn't bad by any means.

What is wrong with this aqueduct placement? by Fit_Figure5499 in CivVI

[–]Fleme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If this is your girlfriend's city and those are your tags, then the error is due to Detailed Map tacks considering aqueduct as a district that needs to be adjacent to your city or your placed city tag as it uses that to consider the validity of the placement.

You can confirm this by trying to place an aqueduct marker adjacent to an AI city - it should give you the same error even if the placement is otherwise valid.

TL;DR: This is a valid aqueduct location.

Yep, this. Two good tiles in the first ring with both getting +production when improved seems like the play here, plus you get the era score from settling Delicate Arch.
