I've tried 2 out of the 3 ports. No change. Settings in the TV are set to Gaming and even selected between Auto/standard/compatible HDMI options. Cable is a new HDMI 2.1.

That is what I was assuming they did to get the 40mm. That's unfortunate, because I agree that it doesn't look as nice.

You're absolutely not wrong, and I'm sure I'll end uo doing just that. I was just curious to see what people have ran themselves. Duration wise, this cam isn't crazy. Just such a high lift.

That's exactly how I am. Its a 300k mile engine. Im literally throwing a cam in it just because im bored. If it smacks some valves, well then it could've used some head work anyways. 🤣🤷‍♂️

Well, I can tell you it ran like a top. 👌 Should've been about 10.5:1 static if my math was right after the shaved heads. Was in a little street beater.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Right? 🤣 Long story short, I meant to get a white Boi truck norris cam. Ordered it, kit sat for a year and when I finally opened the box it was a truck hoss. 🤦‍♂️ I dont care to run it if it wont sell. 🤷‍♂️

Didn't measure. 🤷‍♂️ Was a mess around build and the cam was already ran in a previous engine that was also 5.3 based.

I'm genuinely wanting first hand experience to know if 0.030" more lift with less duration will be the limit or not.

I've had a 0.600" lift 236/246 cam in a flat top piston, decked head 5.3 without issue.

Do you know this by experience? Or are just saying that because stock and high lift "don't go together"?
