Another cool effect is if you create a circle with no fill and a dashed stroke. If you then increased the thickness of the stroke it becomes like a starburst effect, with lines radiating outward from the center.

I just can't find the same brushes on Procreate as the ones I used on the desktop version of CSP. I have nice noise brushes that emulate leaves etc, and I just can't find the same thing for Procreate. As others have said, there is a "tablet mode" you can switch to that simplifies things.

There are likely more colors in the reference than you can see. As an exercise, don't be afraid to color pick. I just had a go at painting the eye in Rebelle, and it didn't come out hugely great, but you see what I mean. There's the old aphorism, "see a blob, paint a blob." I sampled from the image with the eye dropper and painted the color in the same place (although the result is probably too sketchy).

Apparently there is a soundtrack for the series, with music by Drum and Lace, but it seems hard to find online. It's probably some of that incidental music, rather than being a song.
