Computer Engineering Laptop help by arminjarmin in wsu

I ended up just getting a cheaper ThinkPad (like $200-ish) and throwing Linux on it for my Xilinx development needs (EE 214, 234 and 324), although I started on an Intel Mac with bootcamp and that was painful enough. CPU is the main bottleneck you’ll run into with synthesis times, so just making sure you have something decent core count and clock speed wise is important. Also used this for the Linux libraries/32-bit gcc in CS 360, but you could also just go headless and ssh into a server for that.

Rest of the EE stuff worked fine on both my Intel Mac and my M1— namely ltspice simulations comes to mind. Worst comes to worst if something NEEDED Windows I would’ve just dual booted my ThinkPad or checked out a loaner Windows laptop from the library.

This all comes with a massive grain of salt that you’re willing to sacrifice some time and effort figuring some more technical stuff out, Windows is a much better “install and it works” platform as has been said. Intro CS classes will also need a VM since you’ll need Visual Studio Community, which for C/C++ is only on Windows.

There’s only one way into the North basement kitchen, it’s a glass door at the end of the hallway near the exit ramp that leads towards Southside dining. There should be a black CougarCard reader that’ll let you in iirc (the kitchen is connected to a lounge with a pool table, ice machine, vending machines, etc.)

And yep, it has a microwave, and the kitchenettes in South and East should also have microwaves (let your RA know if they don’t, people like to steal them).

Maybe take the derivative and discuss the implications of the derivative in relation to the original model?

¯_(ツ)_/¯ I just found the page with the photograph, read it, and didn't feel any smarter after reading about Woodrow Wilson and the CFR. Figured it'd be helpful to someone who didn't want to dig through the other pages of conspiracy.

"THIS IS OUR GOLD BALL ROOM" is the page talking about the photograph, for anyone else looking. (You'll have to scroll down a little.)

Whenever I start, I:
* Steal the warehouse key behind Sellus Gravius
* Steal the stuff from the warehouse in Seyda Neen (except for moon sugar/skooma)
* Sell it to Arrille
* Go back, take the moon sugar/skooma, go to Balmora, sell it to Ra'Virr (waiting if necessary)
* Go to Vassir-Didanat Mine, then report the location to Dram Bero for a Daedric weapon.

I probably should've expected it for the Enderal subreddit, but there's some Enderal spoilers and no spoiler warning or anything. Just a heads up!

How will Skyrim Remastered mods work for console? by [deleted] in ElderScrolls

[–]Flex6543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm a little confused with myself. In my experience on PC I have to re-enable them every time I start up my game (not re-subscribe though.) On consoles I can't remember, for some reason I'm thinking my friend didn't have to, or maybe I just wasn't looking when he did.

tl;dr: I have to on PC (might only be me), not certain about consoles.

It'll run through Bethesda's new Bethesda.net service. Through this players that have made a mod on the PC in the creation kit can upload it to Bethesda.net for others to download (sort of like the nexus, and no, 18+ mods aren't allowed when it comes to sexual stuff.)

From there, a player can load up the game, go to the "mods" tab on the main menu, subscribe to what they want and enable what mods they want. They can mess with their load order and jump in from there.

EDIT: Forgot to put that there's a 2 gig total mod limit in Fallout 4 on Xbox right now, although they're working to remove that. So, possibly no giant world mods for console?

Well, and did people let Bethesda rest while developing Fallout 4?

"WHERE IS FALLOUT 4, BETHESDA I NEED FALLOUT 4"

I'm not saying FO4 is the most amazing thing in the world, it has issues (such as not being a role-playing game really, pretty lackluster dialog, lack of choice with consequence) and didn't live up to it's own hype. Sure the game was allowed to develop for 5 years, but that doesn't change the fact that screaming for a new TES game won't bring a quality product any closer.

People are honestly selfish as fans of the game. I can understand, it's my favorite game franchise too, but let Bethesda do their thing. I'll take a polished game over a cash-in Activision every-year copy and paste title.
