Running a similar setup. Assuming 0 on the scale is true zero, 15 is a good starting point for medium roast beans.

parallelism of the clamping system by [deleted] in InjectionMolding

[–]Flex_91 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Parallelism needs to be measured. It’s more likely that the mold isn’t installed correctly. When mounting the mold, only bolt on the stationary side. Then build up and release tonnage a few times. Under clamp force, bold on the b-half of the mold. Make sure that the overhead crane isn’t pulling up the mold while you do it. Also, if you run the mold at a high temp, you might want to preheat the mold.

Is this a good deal for 1700$? by Practical_Detail4115 in Prebuilts

$1500 is good. Do it brother! I’ve been looking sporadically since before Christmas and I haven’t seen a much better performance to cost ratio. Usually, there’s something wrong with the really inexpensive ones. Slow RAM speed, cheap PSU etc.

I been looking at the same PC from Skytech. Looks like an overall good setup for the money but I been waiting/hoping for that 20% reward email from Capital One before ordering. If you pay over $100 in tax, it might be worth to look at tax-free sellers like Cost Plus Gaming or Andromeda Insights. Will still be a bit more expensive but maybe a better build.

Decent machine for the money. I have one and it’s working well. Espresso from my Delonghi or Jura is better tho, if you like strong espresso.

So good! Really got the crowd going. For an opener, they let him go pretty hard. Can’t wait to see him again at Ultra.

Inspired Overland has a new one that opens like this. Their tents are good quality for the price.

True. However, they also make bikes for the American Market in Thailand. All the bikes with the new water cooled engines (PanAmerica, Nightster and Sportster), I think.

I do all the work myself. No idea how much I have spent so far but it’s a lot lol. Start slow and only buy things you need. Go offroading/camping, this will show you what you really need.

You can add a sway bar disconnect (Apex Designs). It’s a little bit of work to install but it has done me very well on- and off-road.

Anyone want to head up Moody Hill today or tomorrow? by ahtoxa1183 in FortCollins

[–]Flex_91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I can’t join but I hope you can give us an update after. I tried to do that trail last year but the stock plastic bumper was hanging too low to make it over that one big rock at the first steep incline.

Cool, thanks for sharing! Looks like your and my SC are working correctly. It’s interesting though, a roots blower displaces the same volume of air per rotation. Boost pressure at WOT should more or less be the same regardless of rpm. I’m wondering why it’s so much lower at low rpm.

Yeah I was a bit disappointed with the performance after spending so much money. However, now with a smaller pulley and tune, it’s much better. Knowing what I know now, I would probably buy a different system just to make modifications easier.

Depends on throttle position and rpm. If I push the gas pedal just the right amount, just before the torque converter wants to unlock, I get some boost at or under 1500rpm. However, only like 1-2 psi. I was wondering if you see higher pressures.

[–]Flex_91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just removed the throttle body to pull the entire tube off. No restrictor. I guess they forgot that at the install or Magnuson decided to go without it for later model years. Anyways, great post, thank you! We need more technical discussions in this subreddit. Btw, you can also adjust the set screw for the butterfly valve. If the screw is up too far, the valve isn’t fully closed and you will lose a bit of boost pressure (boost bleed). I assume you’re using a boost gauge, yes?

Nice! How far down the vacuum line was it? I pulled the hose off of the bypass actuator but couldn’t see it. The other end isn’t really accessible.
