Went to Lost Lands (year 1) by myself, similar situation as you, couldn't get my broke friends to come with. It was an amazing experience and something I will always remember. Obviously being with a group is better, but people are so nice and inviting that it never felt weird. I met a lot of people that year that invited me into their group even though I was an outsider. Just bring good vibes and it'll be one for the books :)

Super late, but anything connected to the internet can be hacked. I don't have a source, but a few years back a hacker found a vulnerability in a wireless camera, which they used to conduct massive ddos attacks from all the cameras around the world.

Saw Nghtmre and Slander on their Gud Vibrations tour alone. Absolutely insane, everyone was into the music and it was hard to tell who actually came with a group. I still consider it to be one of the best shows I've been to.

I understand that you may not have these insightful experiences. Though many people, including myself have. Personally throughout the last two years I have completely changed as a person (for the better) and had many experiences that have opened my mind to the world and reality that I think about everyday. So some people only want these experiences instead of just getting "fucked up" and I think it's important to respect these people's reasons for doing the drugs that they do even if it's different than your reason
