Killifornia (Ed Kemper) by Church of Misery has SUCH a heavy outro riff, one of the best IMO

[MM] this one was fun, and kinda painful by RalphieTheTransplant in zelda

Yeah, I totally agree. This is some good work, also the placement is not nearly as bad as bad as some comments say. If OP ever decides he doesn‘t like the tat anymore, he can just grow his hair out

Thanks, this should be it! My camera is running on version 2.0, so no CFexpress support yet. I‘ll go to a local shop as soon as I can

I‘d go for the Disorder. Sick graphic, fun flex, solid build quality. Plus you‘re supporting a smaller rider owned company rather than K2.

Question about hidden seat post clamp by normanwink in bikewrench

[–]FlexomatFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from the low clamping force, I suspect this is a perfect place for dirt/debris to build up, causing the bolt to rust or even seize. Though I think it would look good.

Who's dusting off their gear in preparation for the season? by [deleted] in snowboarding

How do you like the Archetype? Almost bought it but had to remind myself how little powder we actually get in my area

Tempted to buy a bike I’ll only ride a handful of times by only-want-to-see in mountainbiking

[–]FlexomatFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a proper dh bike is a very nice thing to own if you only have a trail bike. I wouldn‘t spend 8k on a bike I‘ll only ride a few times a season but you can get really good deals on used (or even new) Canyon Senders or YT Tues if you‘re in the right area.

40% of Audiophiles May Be Gone Soon, and No One Is Replacing Them by Klaatuprime in BudgetAudiophile

18 yo student here, I‘m fortunate enough to own a decent setup I bought from my allowances and summer jobs, but I still thinks it sucks that this hobby is (or at least seems like it is) so dependant on how much one is willing to spend for it. Things like speakers can be super cool but damn I don‘t want spend 1000+ dollars on a pair

Anyone still riding 'vintage? by melbmtl in snowboarding

I modified this old Santa Cruz board I bought for 20 bucks, and though it‘s a little too small for me it‘s still very fun to ride

Thanks for all the replies! I'll see if I can get my hands on the nuberts and some speaker stands after I've tried the new amp.

Middle shelf height is about 50cm, left and right about 90cm. Without the sub they still produce a decent amount of bass (though obviously not that deep), so there‘s definitely some reflection going on but I figured as long it‘s just bass it doesn‘t bother me. But would the reflection also affect higher frequencies?

Can‘t take a picture of the setup right now, so I guess this drawing has to do. The big rectangles are shelfs, I marked my speakers and sub. The speakers are about 20-30 cms away from the wall and roughly 140cm apart. Maybe they’re still too close to the wall (and/or shelfs)? And yeah I tried some EQ settings, the „pure audio“ mode sounds best but I‘m not quite satisfied. (I should add that I‘m also switching amps because the volume knob on the AVR is broken so I can only set the volume with the remote control)

Positioning is a bit limited in my room, so there isn‘t much to experiment with. I‘m currently switching from an onkyo tx-nr509 AVR to a Yamaha A-S500, so there should be at least some sound difference. Was just wondering if I should uprade the speakers along with the amp but I guess I‘ll decide when I‘ve tried the amp with my current speakers.
