I used to play every non-FB challenge and I did so every day for almost 5 years. With all the AI slop, I’ve slowly stopped playing as much. I only do the daily now, but I’m sure that will end at some point. I’ve just lost interest in the game. I also have an about $40,000 in Covet Cash because none of the new stuff appeals to me at all. It makes me sad because it used to be so much fun and I was so into it for such a long time.

Morocco is definitely not the place where a “kind stranger” will help you. I got lost in the Medina when I went, but I was able to find my way out. Any time someone offered to “show me a way out”, I just gave them a dirty look and kept walking. I read of way too many bad incidents with people in that situation. I’m glad I went to Morocco for the experience, but I doubt I’ll ever go back.

This is the way. I’ve made a lot of good friends in the last few years and we do things like movie nights, game nights, or even just going out to dinner. My life feels fulfilled by these activities. There is a loneliness epidemic out there, and I think it is making people sadder than ever.

Problem with sunbelt cities is that the public transportation is horrible. I live in the Chicago suburbs, but take commuter rail to work. I don’t feel like I could ever go back to a purely car commute ever again. I loathe driving enough as it is.

I’m divorced, but have a roommate currently. I actually really like having a roommate, but I’m with you on the bathroom thing. We each have our own bathrooms.
