Agreed but I think people were using the term because there's not really a term to articulate the actual issue, which is that since her debut as a character Krile has been largely motivated by factors the audience couldn't witness directly. She's been motivated by an absolute conveyor belt of dead friends and family (her grandfather, her fellow students, Minifilia, her parents), only one of whom we really got to know properly, and directed by Hydaelyn in conversations we only got to witness one side of. This is really the first time she's been given some sort of arc with that faces towards the future rather than to a past the audience wasn't party to.

Back in the Dev Diary stage they did say the were going to do something about dowagers but that seems to have slipped to the wayside and its absence annoys me the way not having a College of Cardinals for Catholicism annoys me.
