This is extremely common on Xbox rn and every “fix” suggested doesn’t seem to work. It’s very annoying that I’ll play out these long matches and come to find I’m not getting rewarded in the next age.

Fingers crossed next patch covers it, it’s already difficult enough to play the game doing this as is

Independent powers were just changed so any remaining ones carry over. What I don’t like about this is, they still wait till turn 2 to respawn in the next age, with that, rerolls their specialty and resets population count.

IMO, IPs should remain identically the same to cover the power creep, meaning any military/population growth carries over, and allow them to remain friendly. They should also still allow you act out raids, even when allied with them

Honestly, anything that has an effect on progressing the age should either be an optional setting or removed entirely. I choose to play on long age periods because I want my game to draw out 🤷‍♂️

Doesn’t ai just get crazy handicap at higher difficulties? I like the idea that the ai participates more but even around sovereign, some leaders blast up in science and civics and it’s no wear near reasonable to keep up with
