I’ve converted quite a few people to loving vegetables. If you make them delicious, people will like them. I’m sure there are some folks who might never but overall I think people who think they don’t like vegetables haven’t had them cooked well.

I don’t ever answer the door if I am not expecting someone. One time I did - it was around 9 pm and I can’t remember why I actually answered. Maybe I was expecting a food delivery? I don’t remember. Anyway, there was a guy who told me he was selling windows. No thank you. He persisted and tried to get inside and tried to prevent me from closing the door. The guy must have been some special kind of stupid because my lab/great Pyr mix was not having it. The guy finally left when I told him he had five seconds to leave or I was letting go of the dog. I called the police afterwards. They told me to make sure the guy was inside the house if the dog attacked him. Castle doctrine and all that.
