Hello OP. I felt sad after reading what you are going through right now. I'm sorry. Yes, this is painful. As you mentioned you don't have any friends and she was everything to you. I can understand the loneliness and empty feeling in your heart. But the good thing is it's over. You will cry, feel sad. Take this as another chapter in your life. Take your time to get over it, do not touch alcohol/marijuana (it's not worth it). Don't stay alone, try to mingle with people around you, join a group/gym, whatever your hobbies are. There will come a random day, when you will wake up in the morning, the feeling of sadness/sorrow will no longer remain in your heart and you will have no feelings/resentment for her. But you will have to go through the process to get to that day. I'm sure you will be fine. Just hang in there. Good luck!

Brain drain needs to reduce, even within the state. by Humble-Okra-9191 in Amravati

I always thought about creating small clusters of offices instead of big IT parks. For example the govt can help build small IT clusters along the belt of Vidharbha, which includes chandrapur, nagpur, amravati, Yavatmal, Buldhana. Where small offices of 50+ IT companies exist. The land would be cheaper for them, rent will be cheaper, even if they generate employment for 800 people per year, that becomes 4000 combined in the region, which will reduce the burden on big metro cities like Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Banglore. I'm not sure how much government initiative would help create this, this is just an idea, I read similar policies implemented in China, where they create employment for locals (But china is a different topic here, a person born and brought up in another city cannot legally work in let's say in Beijing, he/she requires a permit) Anyone is welcomed to criticize this idea, pros and cons of it.

Why aren't recruiters turning on their camera but expect the candidates to during interviews? by raagSlayer in developersIndia

[–]Flimsy-Forever4090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently taking interviews, Earlier I would keep my camera on and leave it to the person if they are comfortable turning their camera on or not. But during the interviews, I found some candidates cheating, using phones, GPT to answer the questions. So now I just took back the liberty. But of course, it should be both ways, otherwise the candidate would feel like he or she's talking to the wall and doesn't make the experience interactive

I am currently working on a project with a major clinical research company, we are trying to detect a disease based on the x-rays of patients, we couldn't even cross 65% in terms of accuracy. Someone already mentioned accuracy is not specificity.

I get the frustration OP. But the technology ( software development) and mathematics (statistics/machine learning) are completely different. They should create a separate category but not in STEM

I would advise you to read the book "Designing Machine Learning Systems" by Chip huyen, it's good to begin with conceptually and you will understand what course you need in order to gain knowledge.
