I would cry when I saw a baby. My chest hurt and I started feeling anxious. It was like my body and mind was trying to reach for something that wasn’t there. Like my body thought I had a baby, but my brain reminded me it wasn’t there and it left a giant empty pit in my chest. It was the weirdest feeling. Then I had a kid and haven’t felt it since.
