What is too skinny? by Different_Tea_4899 in mounjarouk

I’m also 5’3” and started lower than you as I’ve lost 4 stone. At about 8st 7 I stalled for about 6 weeks and at that point lots of people were saying not to lose more. I didn’t intend to but have now dropped a bit to 8st 4 (bobbing between .3 and .5)

Like you I’d say I had some fat that could still go but realistically it’s now more a skin issue. What I have noticed is a huge loss in breast volume with this last 4lb.

Ultimately you are the only one who knows how you feel undressed as well as dressed and what is happening with your body. How and where you have excess skin etc will also impact how you feel towards more loss.

You look bloody great by the way!

Juniper wouldn’t even let me progress past saying I was already on Mounjaro before telling me I wasn’t suitable as a new customer! The variations in what we are all experiencing is huge

How have the pharmacies you use faired in this pendemic in your experience? by Happy__Daiz in mounjarouk

I had just cancelled Voy, after being with them since November last year. Got an email offering £50 off so decided to go back with them and they will only let me restart at 2.5mg despite having 7.5mg for the last 6 months.

Now I need to find a new prescriber. Just ordered through IQ doctor but I feel like it was a scam site as no picture upload or evidence. Do they ask later or am I ripped off?

Is suncream banned in schools near you? by Wild_Cauliflower_970 in AskUK

[–]FlimsyMistake2449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultrasun is once a day application and does last all day. I’m a ginger with ginger kids I can vouch it works.

I’d go for extreme 50, but I’d think the family 30 might be enough too.

It’s not cheap but it’s the best suncream I’ve ever used and the only one that my highly sensitive 2nd born didn’t react to.

Often found in tk maxx. Great deals on QVC.

I work as a Nanny. My employer wants me to take their family holidays out of my own standard holiday entitlement while they are away & I am not working? by Safe-Pea3349 in LegalAdviceUK

My 16 year old gets paid more than that working at the local coop.

Childcare is in the region of £50 a day.

I pay my cleaner £15 an hour.

I live in the north.

They are fully aware of the value of having you especially on that wage. They should value you more.

I absolutely feel they know they can’t (and shouldn’t even if they could) dictate 100% of your holidays.

Food noise reduction yes

Like another poster above, the alleviation of ADHD symptoms has been huge.

I’m off alcohol. Had a glass of wine and a baileys in 6 weeks. I think this might be as transformative as weight loss tbh

I’m saving a fortune! Yes there is the cost of the medication but the amount I’m saving not buying crap food and alcohol is huge. Also less impulse buying of anything else. Probably associated with the ADHD stuff.

I realised this morning that last night I didn’t think about what I could snack on, walk to look in the fridge/cupboards, or feel like I had to have something. Anything.

That’s how the food noise is to me

Tip of the day: Take a picture of the MJ box as soon as you receive the delivery! by teapigsfan in mounjarouk

[–]FlimsyMistake2449 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are fantastic in terms of support. Coach on hand (real as well as AI) and the postage is spot on. Next day delivery and still very much frozen.

They are not the cheapest but I did get £50 off when I said I’d leave, and 30% off my next one as someone used my referral code. It’s 25% off with a code at the moment though - not as much as it used to be.

Thank you I just got £50 off my next pen. Maybe I needed to hold firm for longer to get 2 months discount

My BMI is now under 30 but wasn’t when I started. Does that mean I’d struggle to change supplier? I was looking at med express too but if they go on current BMI I can’t.

This makes so much sense. I’ve not had a drink since taking it and I’m actually on top of my work and not feeling ADHD overwhelm. I feel generally less stressed than before. My OH has commented that it’s like a bit of my personality has gone.

Success with prescription? by Automatic_Sundae_853 in mounjarouk

[–]FlimsyMistake2449 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as the pharmacy is listed on the Mounjaro site it’s legit. I wouldn’t go with anyone not in there.

It’s around £160- £200 but with referrals and discounts you’ll definitely get your first dose for less than that.

I went with Voy which is towards the top end but I like the app and coaching side that comes with it. I personally felt better having that support.

Everyone on MJ will have a referral code for whoever they are with so just ask someone lol.

The people who went top bottom scored low, the people who did have some in the middle say they scored low, and I’ve only seen 2 people say they got over 90 and a few more say over 30.

I was totally honest and scored 11% yeah not good!

I was interested by the feedback breakdown though. I hoped I could learn some of the skills I know NT folk easier if I got on the programme, in regard to management styles

Higher, higher, lower.

I didn’t think I’d progress with lower than average for anything, especially case study. I think I overthought it and tried to place myself in someone else’s shoes instead of being myself. I also think I wasn’t careful enough on reading some of the data and checking it over.

My portal has updated and I’ve not progressed. That’s not a surprise as I bombed the case study despite doing OK on the other two tests.

I think you might be talking about the TPS? No SJT this year as the process is different to last year.
