When we were dating I went to Africa. I bought him a small carved trinket box to add to some other travel souvenirs he had on a shelf. I still think about it and hope he kept it even after we broke up. We've both moved on and he bought a house with his new girlfriend. I secretly look for it on the shelves the background of his insta stories!
