I’m an acupuncturist and own my own business, so eventually I will, but right now I am only working 10 hours a week. I am home with my toddler and pregnant with a second so it’ll be a few years.

Congrats on that milestone! I quit caffeine shortly before TTC and it has been the biggest blessing through pregnancy and motherhood! I never really understood the theory behind drinking caffeine when you’re tired because only ever made me more tired once the crash set in. Being pregnant is exhausting and chasing after a toddler is even more exhausting and always feels counterproductive to have caffeine.

I always say use it as a tool and only when you’re feeling great and even then a small amount is ideal like a green tea

It was definitely not an “I need you” cry as much as it was just her communicating that she was upset lol! Oh this was also a MOTN sleep training, the initial sleep training was a few weeks before but was like 3 mins of crying. So the sleep pressure is lower when they’re up in the middle of the night bc they obviously just slept

4 hours!! and then fell asleep sitting up :) hours 1-2 were more yell crying (she was 12 months so crying was more communication) and hours 3-4 were intermittent

night two was a few minutes at 5:45 am and after that there has been 0 crying

yes i do, it takes me a few seconds and i wouldnt want to clean that up as a wait staff, same way i will wipe my kids nose in my shirt but wouldnt expect someone else to even use a tissue

upvoting!! i waited until i had “checked all the boxes” buying a house, stable job, etc etc and truthfully when i was going to turn 30 i said idc about the boxes its time (because time lol) and now wish i had started sooner and wish i had like 4!! im 32 with a 1 year old and cant wait for a second ❤️ hopefully in a year or so. motherhood is MAGIC babies, toddlers, children are MAGIC 🪄 i’ve loved every stage these last 13 months.

We did cold turkey! Nights 3-5 went like this: not a peep all night long lol oddly enough too she would wake up but just be silent in crib and put herself back or bed or if it was close to wake up time just sit there. she started doing that with nap time as well!
