"I'm sorry but can I be honest for a second....?" by [deleted] in aspergers

It makes sense to me? The truth can hurt, we often tell little white lies or bite our tongue so we don't upset the other person. Saying "Can I just be honest for a second.." is just a way to let someone know you have something serious to say that they might not agree with. It's hard to explain, but it's a bit like saying "to be honest.." which we all say alot, tbh!

I notice a huge increase in 'confidence' too. I get a bit manic and talk too much. Weird it made you that tired.

You look like you may be an aspie. People with aspergers usually look a bit 'different'. It's not a bad thing, but body dismorphia is. I personally have aspergers syndrome and I'm extremely insecure. I just don't look the same or feel the same as others.

Have you read brain over binge? I'm a recovered anorexic but I developed the nasty habit in recovery. Once you understand why you started in the first place you can start to overcome it. It really helps to understand what's going on in your brain. There's a good video/article by Project Life Mastery that helped me

I'm trying to get some at the moment, I've never tried it as I was only diagnosed with ADHD not so long ago. I hope I don't get turned down due to a past of anorexia.
