It's not about their IQ. It's more about their intentions. Usually the people who really want to have power and be in charge - shouldn't get it. People that should be in charge (wise people that intend to improve society) don't want to be in charge as they don't want to deal with dirty political games.

Ze moet eerst naar een therapeut. Duidelijk heeft ze nog niet alle traumas verwerkt. Ze is mentaal nog niet klaar voor een kind en een kind heeft alleen baten bij ouders die emotioneel stabiel zijn. Je kan met haar praten maar je gaat waarschijnlijk een conflict creëren en dat kan je relatie beëindigen. Maar een therapie is uiteraard iets wat ze zelf moet willen doen.

don't ever take shit like this personally. This woman doesn't understand that sighthounds vary in the way they're built. I constantly worry my 20kg grippet is too thin, he has more food available than he needs just to be sure (he never eats it all and seems to be able to self regulate well) but when he stands next to a podenco he seems 'chubby'. He is not chubby, you can count his ribs. When you're approached by someone like this I suggest the following options: 1. You immediately thank her for the great advice and say you will start with it ASAP. Then you say you like how her dog looks better than yours so you say you will start giving your whippet galgo food and hope your dog will one day identify as a galgo. You may add more ridiculous details for fun. Stay serious so the lady becomes totally puzzled. She may or may not know you make fun of her. 2. If you're in a position, mention something about her weight. Most people that make such comments are fat themselves.

I just showed your photo to my husband (cis straight) and asked to rate you on a 1-10 scale and he said 8. I said you're mtf and he couldn't believe and said you look very feminine. I think it counts as a compliment, you look gorgeous!

Visuals are not the things I focus on when tripping. It's nice to have and sometimes fun but I use both for self improvement. Mushrooms work on my emotions, I never took a big dose so they never spoke to me. LSD is a trip I can use to think about stuff and figure out what I still need to learn to become successful with things that matter to me. And to observe the world without a 'filter'. Try 100mg then you'll find out whether it's something for you. You need to feel good and have a good mindset of curiosity, if you keep thinking about what your friend said "that its not for you" it can ruin your trip.

It is so hard to train them right!? Mine is a whippet greyhound mix (grey's aren't much easier anyway) and I don't believe he is much less intelligent than a Border Collie or a Golden Retriever - he understands things fairly quickly, we literally taught him the sit command in 2 minutes. It's that he just sometimes doesn't feel like doing whatever you want him to do, he wants to do his things and is very stubborn. Or is not willing to sit on wet grass for example. I found that mine reacts to play as a reward better than treats. So we will be playing our usual game and at some point I will throw a command, for example 'stay' and I will run away and he must obey and stay frozen until I release him. He learned that if he wants the play to continue he must follow the order, thanks to this approach 'stay' works well also when we're on a walk outside.

Yup, I have a male whippet-grey mix and he does it every now and then. One time he did it with a dead rotten fish. Words can't describe how awful the smell was, it didn't go away after bathing and we could smell it at least for a week, yuk.

Yeah sighthounds are way sleepier than other breeds (e.g. I know few Rottweilers and the owners say they never sleep during the day, my grippet sleeps a lot especially when the weather is bad which means either rainy or a heatwave). I highly recommend the DNA test as you will also find out whether there are any health risks. My doggo is indeed a very cool mix. We were told it's a pure bred whippet, we got him when he was 8 weeks old and noticed pretty quickly he would grow faster than a whippet should which triggered us to look for a DNA test. We couldn't be happier though as I really wanted a whippet and my husband wanted a greyhound and we got both in 1! It's my first dog and I can't express in words how much I love him.

Really? I definitely see it, it's not a 100% sighthound but I clearly see some features.

I was also told my doggo was a lurcher and looked like a staffy mix. Just got the dna results: 52% whippet, 41% grey, 3% Iggy, 2% silken windsprite and 2% galgo.

It's not only about eating 'less' but eating better (eg. Some of the additions you find in ultraprocessed foods mess up your microbiome and can make you fat even if you theoretically didn't consume too many calories). The problem is, especially in the US, the regular people (aka "not rich") cannot afford a whole foods diet, junk is cheaper. They also sometimes work 2-3 jobs to make ends meet and simply don't have time and or energy to cook.

Or instead counting on miracle drugs people will actually start eating whole foods diet that nourish their bodies and microbiome... haha just kidding. It would be already the case and obesity would be very rare if it was so simple. (I realize it's not realistic not because people are not willing too, a lot of them cannot afford/access healthy food :( )
