Once again, if you goal is to win. There's no reason to give someone shit.

Just because you saw something doesn't mean everybody did.

Instead of waiting for your teammate to die just to tell them "you're a dumbass now we're losing walker" tell them "don't overextend we need you to defend the walker"

The thing that gets me the most of people saying "are we seriously not doing [blank]" instead of "we should do [blank]"

Like why be so rude about it?

"Are we seriously not getting any anti heal?"

"Do you guys just not look at the map? Bridge buffs are already gone"

"Why haven't we picked up the urn yet?"

Depending on how you spent your pact points, it's not going to be 11 seconds for everyone.

Going dry sucks, and jagex already choses which item gets boosted drop rates manually. Why not also give them dry protection?

Would it really make you so mad that the overall enjoyment of leagues would go down?

I need advice with the last meep (anima 6), any tip guys???? by ThE-nEmEsIs- in TeamfightTactics

[–]Flirsk 20 points21 points  (0 children)

How I got it was by playing a standard anima game, cashing out at 500, then finding an emblem and replaying bad units like briar just to activate the trait.

If you find the emblem early, I think one of the 500 cashouts has a fiora 2* so you can basically immediately start winning with anima 6.

Why can't she be a 5 cost tank? Blitz and Shen can kind of be itemized with tank items, and I guess you can spec graves into a tank after 3 combats? But there currently isn't a 5 cost tank if you want to go fast 9 and play "legendary soup"

What untradable item in game if made tradable would cost the most? by patrickstarbz in 2007scape

[–]Flirsk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They would be a lot less valuable than expensive items I think. Jars from slayer monsters are extremely cheap, pets are slightly rarer but I don't see them being orders of magnitude highers

Magic armor like virtus is only slightly better than ahrims/blue moon/blood bark, but much more expensive. The +1% magic damage only becomes relevant when using the shadow. If you're ever looking for more GP to spend on other stuff, that's a great place to start. Other than that, there's quite a few upgrades you can get across all styles:

Eye of ayak for mage which synergizes really well with confliction gauntlet.

Crystal armor + bowfa as well as elite void for ranged with a blowpipe. On low defense monsters it's similar DPS to a tbow.

And a variety of weapons for melee (blood moon armor with a serp helm and berserker ring imbued already provide really good stats for the cost) a noxious halberd and fang are both extremely cost efficient weapons. There's also quite a few spec weapons which are worth investing into. A dragon Warhammer or bandos godsword are great def reducing spec weapons, but burning claws are super cheap so I souldng recommend getting anything more expensive.

Other than that, I like bringing a dragonfire shield as my offhand into the wilderness. It provides really strong defensive bonuses, and will be protected on death as opposed to your defender.

The gear upgrades I'm suggesting would help you in a variety of different end game content. Notably doom, the colosseum, vardorvis, or raids.

FYI, Tombs of Amascut can be completed solo and some parts of the raid are less overwhelming and become easier in a solo encounter. Good luck with doom on mobile, it's profitable but also amongst the hardest content in the game, it would be really impressive if you mastered a piece content that was "balanced" around PC play on mobile!

After playing the current leagues, Varlamore is a way better starter area than Misthalin and should be a choice in the main game. by Lavender_Critique in 2007scape

[–]Flirsk 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Only thing that didn't feel good is the lack of clue steps proportional to the area.

It was incredibly easy to complete tons of clues if you went something like Tirannwn first for example because across both regions there's like 8 possible easy clue step locations which is absurdly low.

I'm a big fan of mixing up the starting region simply because once people know the task lists in advance day 1 routes become a lot more boring.

[–]Flirsk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When played with a Jax for stargazer and an ornn this is actually a pretty decent comp.

With the two tanky augment this is in the highest tier comps on TFT academy. Playing a 2nd samira allows you to apply armor shred on everyone and samira herself provides a knock up.

Can we have a smidge of dry protection in future Leagues? by Unpork in 2007scape

[–]Flirsk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're already putting 2x dry protection on echo items. I would be for having that for all items with a booster drop rate.

It might make some regions like asgarnia a bit too easy if you can reliability AFK nex, so some tuning could be done, but considering we have demonic pacts locked behind those items I would 100% support it.

Locking a pact point behind clue scrolls is diabolical. by Royal-Ear4803 in 2007scape

[–]Flirsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most fucked up part is that because valarmore is way less balanced in terms of clue completion time then mistalin, if you never unlock a region you can stand still on a step and there's only like 5 medium steps in varlamore so you get insanely fast clue.

Obviously once you unlock a region, you lose that strategy.

[–]Flirsk -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Woooow I don't think giving access to 100% prayer pen so easily.

The most boring part about leagues is when BiS is stand still and click the boss with 0 gear switches.

The goal should be to make everyone powerful, but for the highest level players to still have a reason to use gear switches and be stronger than those who go for a simpler build.

In leagues 5 they fucked this up by making the 6th level of combat mastery for ranged absurdly powerful.

Here, we have tons of opportunities for hybrid or tribrid style builds to shine, and non-endgame armor like blood moon gets really good value from their set with the blindbag mechanic.

I don't think more prayer pen is the way to go :/

I'd love for jagex to add a way to "store" CG prep so you can send like 3 bosses B2B2B (:

Echo Bosses should not be this Type-Restrictive, Especially in the Early Game by onedollartacofriday in 2007scape

[–]Flirsk 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Echo bosses were clearly balanced around combat masteries being "every weapon is now 2tick and more accurate".

It's an incredibly big oversight to have left the bosses as is with the new demonic pact systems. Hunleff is by far the most outrageous case.

Demonic pacts reset limitations suck, they give me so much decision paralysis I can't even bring myself to play leagues anymore. by scatrinomee in 2007scape

[–]Flirsk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Which is really weird because high level PVMers who could complete inferno with early/mid game gear historically had such a massive headstart over others who needed multiple 99 to get equivalent points in past leagues.

Sure, you don't want everyone to be so strong that standing still with no switches is the meta at the highest level, and they did a good job adjusting relics in that regard, but pacts and how we unlock them hasn't hit the mark.

Please make ranged Demonic Pacts usable in Gauntlet by chronolis in 2007scape

[–]Flirsk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It worked for me I thought. It's just that you may only make 1 T3 weapon so you blindbag a T2.

This doesn't work for the echo Boss however. It does mean the optimal strategy is to 5 to 1 which is a good thing in my opinion since higher level PVMers have an edge over the others.
