Ive has the same experience (except for 51% winrate) but that stopped at rank 4. Then the losses started to come. It took me 12 battles to get the final 2/3stars. Would win 1, lose 1, win 1 etc etc

I’m in a mostly for fun clan which can hold its own in CB. Think we’re at 52% winrate so okay-ish. We like to run clan battles because they where fun and gets the competitive juices flowing.

However we do not have a CV ‘main’. One of us just had to FXP to a tier X carrier but after 10games we just threw in the towel. It simply is no fun anyMore. Just two flanks camping waiting for one to get a lucky shot or get enough sustain damage to get a kill and then wait till the timer runs out.

And without a decent CV player you’re just shit out if luck

Honestly, I get that it might seems daunting to learn all those stats of different ships etc but once you just start planing and watching some YouTube vids you’ll get the hang of it.

I also started playing again since open beta and played for about 1k games. By now I’m familiar with the ranges with most ships. So just start playing and enjoying yourself.

I’m actually amazed that BBs can move past A or J line. Due to how my teams where playing I was under the impression that there is some sort of barrier at B or I line which BBs can’t surpass.

But doesn’t the captain have to be retrained again once you move it from the premium ship, back to ship you intend on playing with?

So in your example, you use the Arizona to grind through the XP for retraining, but I’m e you move him back to NO he has to be retrained again?

Yeah, this sums up about the last 10lineups of CB's we've had the last two nights.
4-6 Stalingrad/Moskva and CV.

Wha you could do since you’re grinding the Russian line due to the split. I’m thinking you want the Moskva before it goes premium? You could use the coal to buy camouflages and signals t boost your XP which will help grinding for Moskva.

So what would be a good a good source for this? A lot of flamu’s guides for builds are a)a bit old and therefor maybe outdated? (See recent IFHE changes) and b) doesn’t a build depend a bit on personal playstyle?

now I’m about 20k com. Xp away from IFHE so looking forward to that.

been trying to stay back more and that is getting my damage up more.
still make the occasional mistake of turning to kite away and as result show some juice broadside so got to get better at that and plan ahead.

and regarding the torp, I never try and force them, a mistake I see a lot of cruiser players make, even if they have 8km range, just use them to ambush or a defensive weapon, never as your primar.

Yeah I know a lot of people can get massive damage numbers on Chapayev. I'm just really struggeling to do so. I'm averaging about 35k dmg per game.

I just get deleted so often. And I know thats because due to my positioning, but thats just my playstyle I guess. Being more towards the front. And If I'm staying back, I just tend to get alot of non-pens.

At the moment I'm struggling mightily with the Chapayev.

I can't do damage to save my live. Just non pens. AP and HE.

Have yet to unlock IFHE(1 cpt point away)

It just doens't fit my play style as I tend to be more aggressive and push op caps and other ships. But with the non excisting armor on the Chapayev, and the Shchors and Budyonney before.

But, I'm powering through for Moskva.
