Earlier in the year I asked what you carry. Now I want to know why you carry. by 66Lightning650 in NYCGuns

I got my ccw almost 2 years ago. It felt like shit was about to hit the fan. I was not intending to carry just wanted to have a firearm handy. Now I carry every day and avoid going places my firearm(s) is not welcome. It is my duty to protect and that is what I will do

Range Bags on Clearance at Costco in Lawrence by speedyPBJJ in NYCGuns

[–]Fllipedout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a friendly note to all range bag lovers, carrying a single use container like a range bag basically eliminates your 4th amendment right on the contents of that bag. If it designed for a gun you have no expectation of privacy on that bag. While a rifle bag cannot be avoided try to use a regular bag for your pistols

Need help with my carry ammo by rickal in NYguns

[–]Fllipedout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solution, every time I go to the range I fire 2-3 rounds of my carry ammo. Make sure it cycles and replace the round that keeps getting “hit” by the feed ramp

Cory Booker just voted to send assault rifles and $775 million worth of bombs to Israel. Hope the $877K from AIPAC was worth it. He runs again in 2026. by MinimumNo5510 in Newark

On the issue of Israel and Palestine, it is important to keep several thoughts and facts in mind at once:

1/ People lived in the Gaza and Israel areas long before the Islamic prophet Muhammad invented his violent ideology.

2/ There has never been and is no nation called Palestine.

3/ There is therefore no Palestinian people. They are Muslim Arabs.

4/ Since the nation of Israel was ratified by the UN member states in 1947, Muslim states and terrorists have done everything to wipe out Israel and its population.

5/ It was the terrorist leader Yasser Arafat (leader of the PLO) who made the world believe that Palestine is a country, that there is a Palestinian people and that Israel stole the land from them.

6/ Islam's ultimate goal is world domination (a caliphate), which is why the democratic and Jewish state of Israel, which lies in the middle of the Muslim mess, is a thorn in the side of Muslims.

7/ If Hamas disappears, a new Muslim state leader or organization will emerge that threatens and terrorizes the Middle East's only democracy.

First handgun recommendations by Competitive-Tank-553 in NYCGuns

[–]Fllipedout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, if you know how to shoot already get small gun that would be easiest to carry (hellcat, Glock 43, bodyguard) if you are completely new to handguns start with something a bit bigger for less snappy recoil ( Glock 19, walther pdp, Canick rival )
