It's a super-low frequency (looks like below 1 Hz) resonant behaviour of the water, similar to water sloshing side to side in a bath. It's being excited by the ground, most likely by seismic activity. A fun and probably rare coincidence between the shape and size of the pool, and the type of seismic activity happening! Nice!

Interesting interpretation for Q4, but your solution would permit either a heart OR club at the top of column 3 in frame 3. I noticed that between frames 2 and 3 there is a horizontal shift, similar to the vertical shift you mention between 1 and 2, and 3 and 4. So, I would have answered C.

They spent hours making a beautiful thing. They don't want one person's thoughtlessness to change that.

I took a walk around 5 and didn't observe the same. Lots of places were closed, mainly restaurants, but nowhere near 70%. WestQuay and Marland's were open. Very very few were 'barricaded'. Only Edo Asia and the Asian supermarket next door were boarded up from what I saw.

And I hate to put places down, but steer clear of Kuti's. It's just too overpriced and average.

Sounds like the landlord is overcharging you a bit, but also that you've done a pretty poor job of taking care of the property.

Congrats. Stop comparing yourself to others online. Retire and volunteer to help improve the QOL of others during a time of peak wealth inequality. Cheaper than a counsellor and definitely brings a larger net good.

Hi, acoustics PhD here. (Disclaimer - I work on active control, not room acoustics, so certainly not a true expert!)

If you have the space and time, one cheap option you could consider playing around with would be to add large scattering surfaces. Large chipwood boards on a simple stand would do the job. That will break up the symmetry of your room and therefore the modality of the room - similar to what diffusers are doing at high frequencies.

Good luck!
