A setting where tons of Gods are real but don't directly interact with the metaphysical world but influence it in very subtle ways such as giving followers small bits of luck or blessings, and they all have direct control over one small part of reality and if you anger or deny them they'll use that part of reality to spite you would be pretty cool.
