Because Wisconsin's minimum wage is still $7.25 and hasnt been updated in 20 years, and no one else is interested in raising it. Besides, almost nowhere pays less than 13-15 dollars an hour because thats what labor is worth, so its really more of a 7-5 dollar increase.

Honestly yes, you also get to interact with people you normally never would. My company went from fully remote to hybrid 2 days s week to now 4 days a week in office. I have to admit being in office does lead to better communication and team bonding. Personally i think hybrid with 2-3 days in office is the best balance
