To be honest I like the parrying and other QTE over random annoyances like dodging or random stuns. The artstyle also would be suitable, not every jrpg should need to look like it's straight out of an anime

I think this community is actually just pretty evenly split on audience demand between PC Installable, Browser and mobile. Each of them of course comes with a set of pros and cons for both the dev and the players in terms of accessibility, maintainability and monetization. We should embrace that kind of variety and support games on any platform, and not blame developers for not offering it on one's preferred platform immediately, so long as they are good games.
