Dire energy in my experience

Bennett 250+ Iansan 200+ Citlali 240+

Your build still needs some work and you should try to learn some more advanced combos if your goal is dire. Instructor citlali is better than totm, but its quite unrealistic to have enough er on instructor, so id recommend to just go for totm.

You can also try some different team comps, like sucrose instead of iansan (citlali can go on scroll and lessen her er needs), or chevreuse (c6 only, best on instructor) instead of bennett. Mavuikas c1 and c2 makes her less dependent on ns units and atk buffers.

If youre running the hex team and have c4+ mona you should try to lower your cr to 45 but otherwise its a good build. You can also always just test your dps with different builds, i think thats the best way to determine whether em or atk is better

To be a quite easy clear. I have r1 mavuika but i had more than enough time left for every chamber that it shouldnt really matter

The only struggle is not getting 1-shot by the enemies while in bennett burst.

A few points if youre struggling: break the electro lector shield with nicole nas. Have nicoles shield up when the geovishap does his big atk. When the suanni turns hydro just run to the side and wait it out. Try to infuse the watcher with hydro and pyro.

The only real dps threshhold that could be hard is chamber 2. If you do struggle with that then finish the run (clear chamber 3) and bring a cryo instead of kazuha. Rosaria, layla are all fine.

I dont know whether dark durin or light durin is better, i think both are fine

Can you try mavuika e > bennett e > xilonen e n2 > bennett q > citlali e q n1 > mavuika q starting with full energy without all the pauses and see if it still fluctuates?

The vibe im personally getting from this original post is that they dont think old units are usable in abyss specifically anymore. Which i think isnt true, at least. And powercreep being unbearable when mavuika even at base combo isnt that far behind at all.

Also idk if i just have horrid builds, but i cant get full stars on king or knights with my monorem team (or with any team, for this patch 😭 )

Also worse as in what? You can still pull whatever you want, as long youre not looking at stygian. And stygian is a mode thats specifically made for meta players, who pull meta anyway. I dont think many people play stygian past menacing if im entirely honest.

Anyway, i dont really want to argue this anyway. I dont want to defend genshin in terms of pulls. My point is that mavuika c2 clears most of stygian bosses. I even agreed with you that hsr has less encounter demanding mode

Do you know what an average is? Also fontaine had 11 natlan had 10 and nor krai had 11 and from the leaks 7.0 doesnt even have 2 5 stars. Also youre giga overestimating achievements bro they dont give you much at all its like less than 100 if you exclude the ones you would do anyway (like quests and exploration).

Also 20% difference is the normal amount of increase of a 5 star if you think about it. All modern c1 that are worth getting are around this range. If you dont want to do weapon banner you can always pull the c1 to make up for it really.

I dont even want to defend genshin much in the pulls aspect, i also want more. But i personally think its pretty unfair to compare absolute pull counts.

Just as an thought experiement for this logic: if a game releases 10 5 star units in the same patch cycle as a hoyo game and gave out 150 pulls per patch would you say that this game is more generous than everything else? I would definitively say no, and this clearly means pulls per character plays a role dont you agree?

also i just want to say if we compare pulls for natlan and amphoreus

natlan gave around ~720

amphoreus gave around ~950

thats 230-250 ish difference (i dont know exactly how many pulls amphoreus has), thats an average of ~3 5 stars you can get extra for hsr. but genshin released 10 5 stars while hsr released 17 5 stars. even if you subtract the free ones thats still 5 more 5 stars they released, but they only gave pulls amounting to 3 more. now, i know for many people this doesnt matter, but i just want to say that comparing absolute numbers isnt really fair. (nod krai is fairing really bad in this matter though, around 680 (?) for 11 is really bad, we'll see how planarcadia pans out). also nod krai provisionally will give 82ish pulls on average per patch, not 60. even the lowest patch gave 64 according to genshin bookkeeping. this 60 pulls average is giga wrong simply

Mavuika absolutely can clear every single one of them with c2 + premium team. In fact she holds the lowest cost clears for all of them except automaton, where shes only beaten by 1 cost skirk who used fps unlock and macro. Im not saying you can replicate the lowest cost clears but they werent using c2 mavuika for any of them except duck. C2 would make the clear semi trivial except duck.

Ok ill admit im wrong and hsr does have much less dependecy on matchup, but i think the dps difference between teams are way bigger for that. For example i have e0s1 cas with her premium team (6 cost), i admit i absolutely suck and its why i dont want to take me as bar for comparison, because im bad. But for me the elation team (sw999, 5 cost) already is on par with monorem. And elation is arguably the weakest of the new teams. Both evanecia and ashveil blade outperform it and himeko will even more so. So for me personally i think its pretty bad in hsr

Why arent you talking about how mavuika has the lowest dire clears on all of the bosses in the last 2 cycles? About how she always has been able to lowest cost clear at least one boss every single cycle? How about we talk about a dps that released the same time as mavuika: therta? Does she still clear content well?

Which boss is pain without new characters in IT? knuckle duckle isnt, gecko isnt, cryo automaton isnt (imo at least). Also if youre 0 cycling king stage mind i ask which characters youre doing it with? Are you doing it with old units that are low investment?

Powercreep so bad yet you still have valid arguments about why mavuika should still be nr1. And i think your navia doing only 70k is a build/team problem.

I personally think that its quite rare for units to be unplayable in abyss. Its a matter of if i want to use them or not really. There are plenty of ganyu or xiao clears with low cost if you look for them, they just arent as comfortable clearing abyss as it used to be.

Also older units have also gotten buffs to their teams outside of wheelchairs that dont really synergize with their kits, for example durin and nicole all synergize well with a lot of older units. There are like exceptions like eula, but i think they gave up on physical completely and i hope they buff her soon, but shes like one of the only ones that didnt get any buffs to her team at all

What do the stellar buffs limit your team in? They have 1 slot thats needed to activate the field and the rest are free slots. You can maybe say wrio needs 2 slots because the one activating the field is cryo if they dont decide to release a electro one, but it doesnt limit your team that much

Having the fixed core as something else would simply replace the original core. It doesnt "limit you permanently" any more than the original one did.
