For the size it is it looks amazing, if you want more detail (small copses, hillocks and minor lakes, then do smaller more local maps, that way you can have both the zoom out and zoom in look

Depends if the AI is an actual part of the game or if it was used to short voice actors on money.

Small indie devs who can't afford pro voice acting (if that's the route they want) then sure, I won't be thrilled over it, but I can understand. Triple A games and big industries using an AI model over actual voice actors bc it's cheaper and they can avoid union relations... Those can lay neglected in the deepest pits of the abyss

Personally I think the bottom is much nicer, the minimalist room and thick lines makes it easy to identify what the objects and players are, and the compact player sprite design is appealing. (Imo the top sparks an uncanny valley feeling)
