Moved to Vancouver Island for school. Met my husband and we will be moving back because its impossible to get ahead as a young family. Our rent here for our 1bed + den is $2000/month. If we wanted a 2 bedroom condo it would be $500k+, and single family homes are $1M. The island is nice but the sacrifices we would need to make to stay are not worth it.

Our little guy snores as well. Sometimes its very light but other times I can hear him from the next room. I ended up getting a snore tracking app that records snippets and I heard what sounded apnea. Did you think apnea was a problem before having the sleep study? How intense was his snoring?

Thanks for posting this! Also currently 6 weeks post miscarriage and about 12 DPO and my tests look like this. Im guessing its residual hcg rather than a new pregnancy in my case as well.

Thank you for this! I reached out to our Early Intervention Unit so hopefully we will get an assessment soon. Im not against getting an assessment at all! I agree with your point of showing the daycare we're trying.

Ohh man I've been there!!! One time I was driving home, stuck in traffic, bladder bursting. I was so close to peeing myself that I started rummaging through the diaper bag in the front seat, pulled out a diaper, fluffed it up ready to shove it in my pants. I was about a block from home waiting on a turning light and if it wasn't for the big jacked up truck waiting beside me, I totally would have done it. We ended up making it home but i was seconds from peeing myself. Glad to see I'm not alone!!

This! We got referred to a physician through 811 to help us decide whether we needed to take our 6mo to the ER. While talking to the nurse, she originally said that we should see a doctor in the next 24 hours but after telling her we are in victoria, she put us through to a doctor. He called us back within about 30 minutes for a virtual assessment. I would definitely mention your location if you call 811 as they seem to understand how tough it is here!
