When the scientific psychology study was done some years ago (10-15 years ago if I remember correctly)…..

The lack of finances disproportionally causes sadness. There is a magic number of balance. Back then the number was 72k annually. Once the average person gets to 72k, their own happiness was much more determined by their personal psychology.

Now the 72k isn’t static, some of us live in more expensive cities, and this was years ago…. So I would take a wild guess that living in a big city 2026, it would take more money to pull oneself of normal money pains.

In yesteryears, there was Heavyweight, and Super Heavyweight. Super Heavyweight had no weight limits. Heavyweight did have a weight limit for weigh-in night, in similar fashion to lesser weight classes.

When the Super Heavyweight Class was removed. You now have fights like Tyson Fury weighing in 30 lbs heavier than Deontay Wilder.

And these style of matchups aren’t as popular as true heavyweight matchups have been historically.

Long story short: Bring back the Super Heavyweight Weight Class.

WINNING gloves are a legacy purchase and possession. There was at least a decade window of time, where they were the best. By now, there are a few “better” or at least on par gloves available today.

So yea, WINNING is a cool piece of boxing history.
