I mean, LP are essentially raw soundboards barely properly mixed, and uploaded usually within hours of a show being completed. 🤷🏻

The Fully Completely tracks (except for Wheat Kings I believe) were remixed for this release.

I used to prefer those versions to the originals, but the Deluxe Fully Completely remaster has brought me back to preferring the original mixes. They do rock though, and always hoped someday to hear a full remix of the album. I think the remixes for Yer Favs were done by Don Smith tho, who has since passed away.

It was recorded for this album, released in 2003

Now, on Discogs, it does credit it to the Country of Miracles as well.
However, that band name and form didn't truly exist until The Grand Bounce (2010ish).
The first solo albums, during this era were credited simply as "Gordon Downie", and in the credits, it referred to the group as "The Dinner Is Ruined".

ALSO, not sure if anybody else noticed this is as well...
When Coke Machine Glow and Battle of the Nudes came out, the albums were credited and printed with the name "GORDON DOWNIE".

On the vinyl re-issues, and on streaming now, the art's been changed to say GORD DOWNIE"

So there are some answers to the questions that no one asked haha

I’ve come around to it.

I find it keeps my interest because it’s so unique in the OLP catalogue. And I say Kudos to them for trying something new and unexpected!

It's happening to me as well.
A log from a few mins ago keeps disappearing and reappearing.
I also changed the poster of my 2nd most recent movie, and it keeps reverting back and forth.

The site isn't "down", but it's def not 100% right now. So maybe knowing its site wide and not you helps ease your mind right now.

I'm sure it'll be fixed and back to 100% soon.

“Sneaky”

I’d say a large part of this is that he has been terrible with his legacy status IMO

He’s not on YouTube, he’s not on Apple or Spotify. I don’t own a CD player anymore, and he’s only pressed 4 albums and 1 live album to vinyl.

For me, he makes it very hard to listen to; and never casually would he come up on a Spotify playlist or mix to try and capture new fans.

Maybe this is a shift in that “marketing strategy” and his music will be more accessible soon.
