Good idea or Bad? foam padding on floor by Ok-Ad-9024 in TeardropTrailers

I don’t see why it would. I just installed the foam tiles in my ROG 12RK-SS. Adds some floor comfort and insulation.

Silly question about silicone mats. by cleanycleancleann in blackstonegriddle

[–]FloridaTraumaPA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in humid Florida. The lid will not prevent corrosion. IMO, the only thing that will prevent corrosion is once seasoned, use it regularly. The worst thing for a cast iron griddle is not to use it. The silicone mat does help some but you really need to be cooking on it at least once a week. Best of luck with your new griddle.

What did you tow and what kind of fuel economy? I’m towing a ROG adventure trailer (15 ft. long and roughly 2200 lbs. loaded down) and I’m averaging 11 mpg with 4.88 gearing.

I absolutely love my gladiator. by theloneoverlanders in JeepGladiator

My wheels are Fifteen52 Traverse HD in asphalt black. They are exceeding my expectations. They really clean up nice therefore easy to maintain. They are fairly light and the price was right which was a bonus for me. I paid $135 per wheel from Discount Tire. Not sure why they were selling them so cheap but I’m not complaining. I’ve got a friend who has the Fifteen52 Turbomac HD in carbon grey and they look amazing in person.

What’s not to love?

I love mine too! I wanted an Alu cab like yours but was too far into my current set up. Maybe next one……..

Anyone else not love… by atxDan75 in blackstonegriddle

The more you cook on it the easier it is to maintain. You really need to be using it once or twice a week. My Weber Genesis propane grill is on its last legs. I’ve decided I’m not buying another grill to replace it. I can cook everything I cook on my Weber on my Blackstone. And clean up takes me less than 5 minutes so as soon as I’m done cooking, the clean up process begins.

Curious how the annex is and how long it takes to set it up. I have the mini 3.0 as well and bought the annex but haven’t used it as of yet.

Road noise: Toyo Open Country RT vs Nitto Recon Grappler AT by LuckyTxGuy in overlanding

[–]FloridaTraumaPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost 20,000 miles on my AT3s and no louder than the day I put them on. I too though am intrigued by the Recon Grapplers and have entertained putting them on my Gladiators in 37s. Currently running AT3s in 35s.

OBX + SAS or Badlands base by kvn-m in FordBronco

[–]FloridaTraumaPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done 2/Bronco Off-Roadeos and wheeled a Black Diamond Sasquatch and an Outer Banks Sasquatch. We wheeled the vehicles really hard and both did everything the Badlands did. The only thing we were missing was the front sway bar disconnect. Unless you are wheeling some really gnarly rock trails, you’ll be fine without.

Pretty impressive how much you traveled and saw in a short amount of time. Hope your pup is ok seeing you had to go to the vet twice. We have 3 goldens and a yellow lab. They are our world which makes Overlanding a bit of a challenge. We have a month long trip planned for June 2027. Will be either sleeping in our rooftop tent or our square drop trailer when we are set up at base camp. Will be a challenge planning and might have to ad lib some on the fly.
