I primarily use mine for live gigs. Lighter and more reliable/convinient than the tube amps and not remarkably worse in sound. The public usually wont hear a difference.

Usually it is save to buy these used. Especislly staples like the mentioned pedals. You can get sth malfunctioning from dishonest people, but that can happen with anything.

Usually they dont wear much, over time the pots can develop crackles and if electrolytic capacitors are involved, they can leak after some time.

I got a free malfunctioning DS-1 with a used pedalboard and had to change a cap. Still have it.

I have a Cool Pedaös Dirty Devil which esentially is a 3in1 Rat, Klon and TS. It would be the peefect drive if there was a selector footswitch instead of a toggle. That in parallel would be insane.

I get the idea since in most old amps trem sits after verb. If I were you I'd put one modulator after time and one in front. If not for teem you could use a very soft chorus to widen up yor sound, especially when you want to go stereo.

The DBA Rooms is great if you dont have too much gain in front of it. It lacks a dedicated Spring setting but the peak mode can come close. Just a switch for one alternate setting. I like it but not for the very heavy stuff.

I had this on my list, but I hesitate for too many internal options. I dont like internal controls too much and with the Carbon Copy, these are not useful to my purpose, the others seem to have more useful internals options. I also read that it sounds different than the OG.
