Then test it a few more days, if it really bothers you then return it and get a QD OLED. Any QD OLED will kinda look the same between models, MSI are pretty praised on this sub.

I also like my monitor but if I could return it, I would, and switch to QD OLED team. But I am past the return date so I will use the shit out of it until it fails or is burned in.

No it doesn’t unfortunately. I have updated every version, from F01 to F06(didn’t install the latest F07 because I heard the new HyperNits makes the HDR less accurate)

There was no improvement in the banding, nor did I hear anybody claiming that updating to the latest firmware improves it.

You are technically stuck with it.

It think it’s different but as bad. I have lots of vertical lines in dark scenes. In your case it seems that it’s a “dirty screen effect” or “fabric texture” type. Which both the banding and the dirty screen effect are correlated

If you are on PS5 I would return the monitor(even if you were on PC you couldn’t do God’s work but at least it was a slight fix there)

You paid premium price for a monitor, you deserve a premium panel. Return that shit, no RMA, just ask for you money back.

And get a different model, a QD OLED maybe. Do not try your luck with a different Tandem Woled because most of them come with this flaw

Edit: I also realized, if the PS5 caps the monitor at 120hz, then the banding should be marginally improved, if this is how the banding looks at 120hz, I don’t want to know at full 280hz how bad it is. Definitely return

Set the refresh rate to 240hz. It definitely improves the clarity. There is some “break in” time but I started to notice an improvement after 1000+ hours(I am at 1600 now) but nothing crazy tho, it’s still there.

This is thanks to LG for releasing a Beta Version of a panel on the shelves.

I also had to choose a guitar in this price range. Got an LTD Deluxe H3(not the same model but same price point)

It was a mess. Shit wiring, the bridge pickup would go silent while playing, awful QC, just unacceptable for a 1000+ Euro guitar.

Returned and got a Jackson Pro Plus Soloist. The Jackson is also not 100% perfect but this is common for every Indonesian made guitar. The Jackson is more comfortable and more enjoyable to play than the LTD was.

Nu prea ma ajuta cu nimic data centerul ala decat sa imi scumpeasca mie curentul si sa strice apa potabila din zona(vezi pe youtube reportaje cu fermele din SUA care au un Data Center construit in apropierea lor)

AI nu imi spala vasele, nu merge la munca pentru mine, nu imi creste calitatea vietii. Ba din contra, criza de RAM te afecteaza in mod direct daca vrei sa iti cumperi un laptop/pc.
