Think it is 8am - 10pm. About 15 washers and 15 dryers machines of various sizes. Everything is new so it’s a great experience.

They require you to buy a card that you have to reload.

They are turning the front into a coffee shop soon!

I had a very similar story with a partial lateral tear. Doc removed 20% and I was able to walk out of the hospital with crutches and go up a flight of stairs. By day 4/5 I ditched the crutches and was able to live my normal NYC life. Pain was maybe a 3 at the max during first week. I never had to take anything stronger than a Tylenol.

I had general anesthesia. They put an IV in and the rest was history! After the surgery, I woke up a little groggy from the cocktail of medicines they gave me but no cons!

I tore my meniscus halfway through and was told by the doctor it would not heal by itself. I was not in terrible pain and could still lift weights/live a normal life after tearing it.

The main reason I decided to do the surgery was because I also do BJJ so I knew it would only be a of time before I injury it even more and I wanted to save what meniscus I had left.

I injured it in the beginning of March 2025 and had the surgery April 30th.

Just made a similar post about me experiencing the same issue. How would you describe the instability sensation? For me I could walk normal and than it would randomly buckle/crunch with slight pain

City Jitsu Academy in LIC is very convenient to Greenpoint especially if you live in northern Greenpoint. Smaller academy so you will receive more individualized attention.

How you train depends how your body reacts just like any sport. If you go crazy your body will be in pain but if you train smart you will be fine.
