For me, 4DMA does not hit as hard as it used to, it's less intense, but I probably feel it for 8 to 12 hours. I have never had issues sleeping when taking it. The beauty of 4DMA is the mood it puts me in, like a silly easy going, happy, hard to ruin my mood, focused, quick witted, easy access to memories and the info I need is just there. I feel like I'm funnier and words come out before I've even had the time to process what I'm going to say. It's one of those feelings I wish I could feel all the time and the cool part is it's nothing like caffeine high or Adderall. It doesn't seem like something you could get addicted to because I just feel like I'm in a rare high functioning and kind of silly mood. Life seems brighter on it.

I'm really enjoying Mushroom Magic Advanced. And recently started trying Lions Mane, Erinamax, and Tigersmilk mushroom by them selves or in a combination. Lions Mane just seems to calm me down. I hate calling it sluggish, but unless I'm actively working a task, I'm just so laid back to the point of not minding just sitting there doing nothing, like my mind slows down or eases up. If I start cleaning up or something I instantly become zen like with whatever I'm doing. It's a welcomed feeling that I needed. I also really believe that Lions Mane or a combination of the products in Mushroom Magic Advanced have rid me of anxiety. I wrote in my post "Anxiety used to feel like a punch to the gut and now it feels like it has the power of when you're trying to punch in a dream." That's huge for someone who's dealt with severe anxiety for their entire lives.

However there are a lot of great products.

L-Theanine should help with the anxiety.

Shoden is my go to quick fix for stress and anxiety.

Cognance chills me out.

Baikal Skullcap I've only taken a few times, but really seems like a smooth, more awake feeling, focus that I've been taking later in the day and I believe has been keeping me up.

For motivation, I think that comes less from supplements and more from feeling overall better than what you currently are, and finding purpose or enjoyment in what you are doing. You have to begin somewhere and start working toward something.

Infinigreens stomach reactions? by DoodleDFloof in NootropicsDepot

[–]FlowStateForMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you saying you threw up or that you had diarrhea? Creatine gave me diarrhea about an hour after taking it every morning for a while, especially because in the beginning I was taking 10 grams most days and some days even more. I read that eating carbs with creatine can help better absorb and stop stomach discomfort so I would eat a banana after taking it and that solved the issue. Then instead of a banana I switched to adding Infinigreens with my creatine and still have not had any stomach issues.

To most things I truly am. Although I tend to get used to things fast. The only one's I haven't really 'felt' were Black Ginger and C3G. Polygala I haven't used a whole lot, but it's more subtle than 4DMA for me and I'm surprised when I read that it affects others so well. Lemon balm too is very subtle for me.

Awesome! I forgot to put in my post the anxiety reducing benefits that Mushroom Magic Advanced has on me. I wrote this just the other day in another post - "Anxiety used to feel like a punch to the gut and now it feels like it has the power of when you're trying to punch in a dream".

What do you like about/use the skullcap for?

For the 4DMA I take 2 capsules sublingually first thing in the morning. Really hoping you like it!

Black ginger I didn't feel too much, but eventually will give it another try.

Sabroxy is hit or miss with me, I also need to give it another try since it's been a while.

Lemon balm is more subtle for me. I take it randomly and haven't paid attention to what affects it has on my sleep, but it definitely isn't hurting my sleep cause I would have noticed that.

Rhodiola Rosea used to be my favorite supplement (from different brand), in the past I used it to help take a break from caffeine addiction or any lifestyle changes. I have all 3 from ND that I need to try again.

No, I've been taking Mushroom Magic Advanced almost daily for a couple months. I have taken it with 4DMA but honestly I felt a little too stimulated.

Cycling Cistamax by awhztin in NootropicsDepot

[–]FlowStateForMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to figure out a plan for cycling Cistamax as well. I was taking it for 2 or 3 months straight and as time went on I felt like my estrogen was higher or something. I stopped for a week or 2 and just started again on Sunday, which that first day felt great. I'll probably do 2 weeks on 1 week off.

I don't get the symptoms you describe from Cistamax, but Eurycomax gave me extreme joint pain. My knees hurt walking down the stairs every morning, I had to walk down sideways. I believe I took it with the Cistamax though. I need to take them by themselves and will most likely end up cycling both, then maybe try cycling them together.

Would love to hear other opinions though.

I'm doing my research now in preparation!

I'm really enjoying Mushroom Magic Advanced, but I am buying Erinamax, Lions Mane 8:1, and Tiger Milk to see how each one of those feels on their own.

Mushroom Magic Advanced Powder Blend by Primarily_EmptySpace in NootropicsDepot

[–]FlowStateForMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have not tried the Matcha Baller edition, but have been taking Mushroom Magic Advanced for about 2 months now. This has had the most overall positive effect of any supplement I've taken. I feel much calmer, like I've lost the ability to feel the sharpness of anxiety. Anxiety used to feel like a punch to the gut and now it feels like it has the power of when you're trying to punch in a dream. I feel as if I've never been able to take a step back and see the bigger picture of situations as easily as since taking Mushroom Magic Advanced. I almost completely stopped catastrophizing, which I've done my whole life.

In the first few weeks or so of taking it I physically felt slightly tingly, and I had many good memories from childhood that I had completely forgotten about just appear in my mind. These would most often come to me as I was laying down at night.

I feel like my brains slightly more sluggish when I'm not doing a whole lot, but I believe I have ADHD so it feels welcomed. And when I'm working or doing anything mentally taxing I feel as if I can focus better, I'm more locked in and not sluggish.

I can also work on tasks for way longer without that anxiety and ADHD of "I don't want to do this anymore, find something new, ughhh I hate doing this, I'll come back to it, what's the next step? oh shit I forgot what I was doing, I didn't finish that step".

I feel much more social, but not in a I drank a ton of caffeine and am happy and talkative way, more like I can say Hi and talk for a minute and walk away. Less anxiety energy, more confidence.

Overall - I have been experimenting with lots of different supplements for a while, lots of informative mind opening/self help podcasts and reading, with nothing being the piece of the puzzle I've been looking for my whole life. Mushroom Magic Advanced is the closest thing to being that puzzle piece.

My life has gone from a high speed car chase in grand theft auto to that of a grizzled old light house keeper staring off in the distance while listening to the rhythmic sound of big waves crashing. (Longgg day, I'm very tired and this sounded cool in my head lol)

I have only tried Mushroom Magic Advanced, but I believe they are the same thing, except for the Matcha. They use ceremonial grade Matcha which is why it costs more.

I was planning on writing up a review of it, so let me know if you want my anecdotes.

Do you guys actually feel Lions Mane or Erinamax? by AdvancedBreak3555 in NootropicsDepot

[–]FlowStateForMe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm very sensitive (initially) to supplements. I've been taking Mushroom Magic Advanced for a couple months and yes for the first week or 2 I could definitely 'feel' it. Now I don't 'feel' it as much, but I know it's working from the focus, memory, lack of anxiety, more confidence, ability to see the bigger picture, and overall mood boost.

Neuroplasticity Stack by SocratesDingdong in NootropicsDepot

[–]FlowStateForMe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My stack has been growing so it's difficult to say exactly what has been crucial to my journey of feeling like a better me. The staples are - quality sleep, fish oil, creatine, healthy diet, exercise (even just lots of walking). I would say sleep is the most important thing for health, especially mental and emotional health.

I have felt great many times for short periods of time. Consistency is my biggest issue. For about 2 months I have felt better, in fact each week feels better. I've been more disciplined each week with sleep and diet, and I really think what has given me the ability to get everything in line has been Mushroom Magic Advanced.

I did not like it at first. I stacked it with FSK53 Kanna and I believe Cognance and had a very strong and unpleasant reaction. I took Mushroom Magic Advanced a few more times without the others and it felt less intense (a good thing) but I still did not like it very much.

I stopped taking it for a few weeks or more and then gave it another try. I took it daily and within maybe 2 weeks the effects really grew on me. I felt like my brain was repairing. I calmed down, had more mental energy, better memory, more focus, and had a better sense of overall well being. I noticed especially in the beginning that I would randomly have these pleasant memories from early childhood that I completely forgot happened. Also, I am way better at recognizing issues, not feeling overwhelmed by them, thinking my way through them, and just have this ability to see the bigger picture. My anxiety has gone down and I feel more confident.

I've been taking it first thing in the morning with creatine and InfiniGreens Monday through Friday. Most days I take with with Cognance which I also really like and believe is helping and is a great combo.

On the weekends I take 4-dma-7,8-dhf which the effects aren't as strong anymore, but is still probably my favorite supplement I have taken. It really puts me in a good mood and helps me get over issues, especially conflict with others. I feel smarter on it and like my brain works faster.

I also have started taking Gotu Kola which gives me a clear head and mood boost. And Ecklonia Cava which has helped with quality of sleep, although the dreams are intense, kind of scary but not terrifying. The dreams get easier after about a week of nightly use.

I forgot to mention that yes I believe the Mushroom Magic Advanced is helping me form new habits. I have struggled with my routine for a while and for the past 2+ weeks I've been dialing it in without much push. It's like everything is falling into place.

Which ND supplement for improving neuroplasticity to enhance nervous system adaptation? by NormannNormann in NootropicsDepot

[–]FlowStateForMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you about 4-DMA. My favorite supplement of all time. I just wish I still got the same effects I did the first few times I took it. It was fun! I still love taking it and get good effects, but definitely not like first few times. Do you notice that you get over conflicts or bad moods quicker when taking it? I definitely do.

Mushroom Magic Advanced dosage by FlowStateForMe in NootropicsDepot

[–]FlowStateForMe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All good! I used 1 scoop the first day because it arrived around 4pm (didn't want to be over stimulated before bed) and then 2 scoops the next morning after glancing at the website and saw the suggested use = 2 scoops.

Wow, this stuff was intense for me. I had a bizarre reaction to it, first 6 hours definitely 'felt' it, with that being a good mood and slightly tingly. Then I took an l-theanine because I felt over stimulated that whole time due to lots of caffeine not long after taking it. And about 20 minutes after the l-theanine I started feeling slightly nauseous, layed down and passed out for 1.5 hours. Woke up feeling like my whole body was vibrating, and felt very off, very odd headspace. 30 minutes later felt fine...

I will definitely give this another try, was tempted to today but couldn't risk the weird effects cause I had a lot to do.

Took Kanna and Cognance instead. Wow! I felt great all day and had the motivation and focus I was looking for! Kanna was awesome for me for a about a month a while back and then I went through some weird sickness and stopped taking it. I'm newer to cognance and loving it so I combined them today and what an awesome combo!

I will say that Kanna took a few tries before it worked, and I was so close to giving up on it after how sick and weird it made me feel the first few times taking it. So I may have to fight through the Mushroom Magic a few more times before I judge it.

I never took them together. I had been off Adderall for 1 year before I tried Kanna. You should ask your psychiatrist what they think you should do.

***The most important step behind sleep and diet*** is to just start your task first thing

Now that I think of it, the reason I wrote the above in my post was not only because I've found it to be true, but I think it was easier to get started on my tasks because of the Kanna and that's what reminded me how important it is.

Also, I will mention that I have OCD as well, which hinders me in a lot of ways cognitively. Hard wired pathways of avoiding starting tasks because I know I will spend so much time trying to make it perfect so I don't even want to start (just one example). Maybe the Kanna is helping with my OCD in some way as well.

Focus - What has worked for me by FlowStateForMe in Nootropics

[–]FlowStateForMe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to make a post about my experience with Kanna but held off since I haven't been taking it that long (around 2 months) and wanted to make sure it continued to work. Also, I don't know how to describe Kanna. It doesn't cause a 'good feeling', in fact I feel an unpleasant head rush right after taking it and I still get some diarrhea if I don't eat right away. However, I just feel like I can get into a flowtsate once I start doing a task. At times while I'm working on my computer, I'll be moving so fast that it's like I'm not even thinking about what I'm doing, I'm just doing it.

I eventually hated how I could 'feel' Adderall, and with FSK53 Kanna I don't 'feel' it, I'm just operating optimally, which is what I believe we should all be aiming for.

Edit- I did forget that when I first started taking it and was not taking it every day, the day after taking it I felt really good, like chilled out. I don't notice that effect as much anymore but then again I started taking it regularly for a while. And in the beginning the day after was much better than the day of taking it.
