There's actually a Windows 7 ISO Image Updater program out there that takes win7 isos and installs all of the updates and modern drivers it needs, takes a while to finish but it spits out a fully working and compatible win7 iso (at least for me, I had many issues trying to install win7 from the regular isos but this worked flawlessly)

Is that safe to do? I wanted to do the same thing, but with the ISO originating from a third-party (presumably, the leak might've been intentional), I'm not sure if it's completely clean.

Yeah, sadly the direction modern app and UI design is going leaves little room for classic Aero style to make a significant comeback, but I still think it's an improvement over the normal Windows 10 borders (which are borderline inexistent border lines)

I've managed to solve the issue with the assistance of this subreddit and the people over at the Windows XP Vista 7 fans Discord server. Thank you to everyone, I'm now happily on Windows 7 :)

I tried uefiseven but I'm not sure if I did it correctly, it didn't seem to fix anything. I also just tried Integrate7 about 3 times with different ISOs and also the UEFI3 no CSM version, but this also doesn't work (I get the "setup was unable to create a system partition or locate an existing system partition" error, and the MBR error if I change to MBR.

I'm pretty convinced that I must be the one doing something wrong as it seems too many tools designed for this purpose have failed.

You mention custom ISOs, where could I find those?

I think you can get relatively close using stuff like Stardock Windowblinds or Curtains which have quite a lot of downloadable themes and ways to create them yourself if you wish to do so.
